EXACTLY! That’s the part that I really don’t understand. They seriously think HBO is going to go, “Hey! Let’s make a show about wonderful rich white people! That’s it! That’s the whole show!”

It flew under AVCs radar because of their aversion to covering anything “too white”.

Please review it this season! I was stunned it got ignored (besides the pre-air review).

I agree, especially since I was convinced Tormund and Beric could not have survived the wall collapse yet poof! They were there the next episode. I hand waved it because I love Tormund, but they have certainly not offed anyone shocking lately. I think it’s due to the fact that they have just a few stories to wrap up…

It’s an odd critical sticking point that a lot of people have. They do it with shows like this, or The Walking Dead. They kill too many people for shock value. They don’t kill enough people. They only kill red shirts. Then you have to worry, WHO got killed? Are they a person of color? Were they gay? Did too many white…

I thought this was the best Barry episode yet. Could I sit and find things to critique about it? Always! But I think it was an amazing episode, and Hader wrote the hell out of it.

I love when the broadcasters say “Draymond has gotta watch himself!” because clearly he doesn’t have to. He goes batshit almost every call and will usually just get one T at the most.
