I just watched that episode last night! I was waiting for someone to quote it.

That’s very true. Meadow was a brat, a self righteous hypocrite. AJ was a dumb kid, who wound up easily influenced by the media. He grew up to be a weak willed kid and only survived due to his family money.

Yeah, I feel like there’s middle ground. I loved the episode Mac came out. THAT episode made me tear up. It was hilarious AND sweet. A perfect episode. This one was 15 minutes of unfunny comedy followed by a dance that was technically and artistically wonderful, but so oddly out of place.

I think the rating are up because we got more than a few “hop ons”. I feel like this show is playing to the “hop ons” this year and randomly waggles a Sonic Screwdriver once in a while to remind us we’re watching Doctor Who.

As someone who needlessly piles on Barsanti all the time, let me just say, the man loves the overuse of quotation marks to bit-quote things. It’s usually done to imply snark but sometimes it’s just so he doesn’t have to form wholly original sentences.
