I wouldn’t spend too much time trying to suss out things Alex Jones says. I think at this point it’s every person’s individual responsibility to be smarter, kinder, and more proactive.

I agree that fawning over John Oliver week after week for saying the same thing we’re saying doesn’t get anything done.

Che and Jost still getting the “Good job, good effort!” treatment. At this point, they really are a good team. I like how Jost’s jokes zig when you think they’re gonna zag, and Che mixes in a great balance of clever takes on things (woman can drive cars, now that cars can drive themselves) and flat out “F you,

I was wondering why no one mentioned this.

Never forget.

I think James Cameron was trying to move the needle even further for female protagonists, but he did it in the most botched, dumb, James Cameron-y way possible.

He’s also the king of the world. *awkward, weird Woooo!*

I agree, though I prefer the comics that use Twitter to actually make jokes like Todd Barry, and have unfollowed a bunch of comics I really love because it’s non stop Trump jokes, and I’m fatigued on Trump jokes.

Bruce Banner is a calm, normal Twitter follower, The Hulk, he’s aloof and indifferent. You wouldn’t like him when he’s on Twitter.

Katie, Kyle is the best to follow! He’s so engaged with the fans. And he’s liked my Tweets which doesn’t hurt. He posted one the other day of some contraption that looked like a kettle and said, “Phillip?”

It is. Even last year’s AHS, which I liked a lot, did better with injecting social commentary without going the Scream Queens over the top with it.

Sam Barsanti = An article that 90 % in quotation marks”. I don’t even think it’s technically writing.

AVClub, it’s agenda-riffic!

So we’re ALL just giving up and becoming angry and nasty?

Yeah, a lot of Americans are unreasonably 24/7 “shook” by Trump. Most non-angry, non-hateful Americans are not happy about Trump (myself included), but there are still some of us that can still function without running every aspect of life through a Trump filter. It just ruins the things in life we can still enjoy.

I second that emotion. I realize Trump is destroying the country, but eating, sleeping, breathing, and wallowing in the misery and letting it bleed into everything is not something I’m going to do.

Here’s an SNES.

My wife and I gave it two episodes and were like, “We’re done.” And we both get that it’s high satire, but I’m sitting there going, she’s gonna shoot the guy from the restaurant long before it happens. I was guessing everything, and I’m not all that clever.

Liz was the best part of Hotel. I also loved how her son accepted her. AHS has a habit of being cruel and heartless, so it was nice to have Liz’s character fleshed out, especially on the show where “fleshed out” is usually something that happens to a character

I wondered why it looked like you were talking to yourself. I mean, I talk to myself all the time, so no judgment but yeah, Kinja confuses me as well.
