Trademark law. How does it f*cking work?

The question is moot. The shuttle missions weren't launched just to study one thing. There were typically any number of experiments and things going on with each shuttle mission, so it isn't like they spent money on that one experiment alone.

I don't miss records. Yeah, sleeve art, inserts and stuff were nice, but CDs were just as nice — just smaller. I kind of miss a lot of that with downloadable stuff off iTunes and whatnot though.

Jean-michel Jarre already made beautiful music by outfitting the air with lasers.

Okay, so. Now that we have a new music app that is generally better than the built-in app, I want to know when we're going to see other things. Devs have direct API access to the music library and data stream, so when are we going to get stuff like visualizers (useless I know, but why not?) or real working 5 or 10

Apple has been relaxing some of its "duplicate functionality" rules over the past couple of years now. That's why there are alternative browsers and such. (Although browsers still have to use Webkit, they can't use their own custom engine.)

Like I said, I'm not against the idea of keeping things clean and maintaining a certain level of cleanliness. That should be a given, particularly in any place that serves food. But I also said that some people go way overboard with the notion, suggesting that the mere presence of pathogens of any sort indicate a

I don't claim to know everything about immunology, microbiology, virology, or any of that, nor did I claim to, but knowing that you build a strong immune system by allowing yourself to be exposed to the things your body needs to build an immunity to is a complete no-brainer. My issue is not with those who take

Yes, but as long as you don't turn into a germophobe you'll keep exposing yourself to the same pathogens wherever you go, which means your immune system will stay well seasoned against the common stuff. Sure, you might still have to get shots for the uncommon stuff, but that's fine. As long as you're keeping your

Damn right. Going outside to roll around in the garbage? Great, just make sure you're back for dinner, and change so you don't stink the place up. Jeez, I spent plenty of time playing in the dirt when I was kid, picking up strange things, going bloody well everywhere, and aside from getting common colds and a

Exactly my sentiments. Carlin knew what's up.

It's not scary stuff. It's common stuff. Just about everything humans come in contact with has bacteria of some sort on it. That's why we have immune systems. They fight off bacteria. The thing is, our immune system needs practise. It needs bacteria to take shots at so that it's good to go when a real invasion
