Gluten-free diet is actually a typical part of treatment for Hashimoto's. Like Celiac, it's an autoimmune disorder, but it isn't the same, nor have I heard of actual cases of comorbidity.

My mom was diagnosed with Celiac over 30 years ago, before laypeople even knew wtf gluten was. Having seen her suffer through things marked gluten-free, this makes me very happy.
