Joe Flacco has been in the league for 11 years!?!? Fuck I’m old.

I think yours is better, good use of the quote.
I know they’re doing it for injury reasons, but why not do this regularly if you have one infielder who is an elite defender and three average guys? Put someone with range and a cannon where the ball is likely to end up. Are the positions all that different?

I think enough women would be able to homer to make up for how much easier dunking is mechanically. Virtually that entire half of the species is incapable of dunking. But there are plenty who play softball, hockey, golf, tennis, cricket, and could get ahold of a pitch and put it out.
What about pulling it to the corner? 340-360 feet sounds pretty doable.
Anyone else read the headline and think he died? Should’ve gone with ‘Past 24 Hours’.
Definitely no real research behind it because the math doesn’t add up. You need to charge men 22% more (or women 18% less) to get the coffee to be worth the same amount as a percentage of one’s wages.
I don’t mind the concept, but I do mind the math. If the pay gap is 18%, meaning women earn 18% less than men, you don’t end up even by charging men 18% more. You need to charge men 22% more for the cup of coffee to be worth the same amount as a percentage of their wages.
Racial disparities exist, and we often have the ability to quantify them. Acknowledging the existence of such disparity is not “trying to create a race division”.
“XXIIIrd” made me laugh.
I thought this would be linked at the bottom but it’s not...Similar situation, totally different outcome. One of my favorites, I love the sheepish laugh at the end.
Wasn’t sure if you were serious until the end. Well-played.
CAVS PREDICTABLY FAILED TO OVERCOME A 3-1 DEFICIT
Doesn’t have the same ring to it.
Honestly, I think this trustee seems like a dick, but he may actually have misspoke like he said at the bottom. Makes more sense that another player reported the January assault, and then this guy had another a few months later.
You think ELPD and MSUPD (who btw, aren’t the ones who prosecute) go out of their way to scare up testimony about star athletes only so that the actual prosecutors can decline to bring charges (despite a police report that was pretty clear about the lack of consent, with one guy even admitting that)?
Oh I’ve got nothing against Dantonio in particular, I just sort of question anyone who gets to that level’s ability to do the right thing when you could cover it up. So much money at stake, and you have to be insanely competitive to get there. Just so many other stories of people in his position being shitbags that…
Hey now, that’s not fair. The girl with cancer was close with Payne only. Keith’s actions just got ignored. We only got duped by a cynical PR move once!
Sigh. Looks like the football program actually did this right though? Shocking to me. As an alum.
I think I had an aneurysm after reading that first sentence.
He got a prestigious new David Carr fellowship at the New York Times. I meant to follow his work more, but I’ve only read one article since. It was really good though, post-election piece about watching his mom volunteer for HRC.
