You mean where they invented the drone drop:

Have you read it recently? I can’t help but think that he is insane most of the time as his players and assistant coaches dance around him, trying not to get yelled at. Other than his homophobic and occasionally racist language, the worst part so far is where he insists on playing point guard in practice when the team

I’m reading “A Season on the Brink” right now so this is all great. These guys’ coaching may be great but their motivational strategies are insane. Comically, Knight never would have put up with floor slapping...he yelled at Alford for pumping his fist after forcing a turnover. Great stuff.

To be fair to Roger, most games were ass this year. So Thursday games were well within one standard deviation.

People talk about The Brow but Cantor’s eyebrows now touch each other and his side burns. With the stubbble that he currently has, his mustache, beard, eyebrows, and hair are all one thing. I’ve never seen that outside a Geico caveman ad.

Enes Cantor needs one more.

Coach Knight! You’re here!

It was the Warriors players’ fault for believing that Ezeli was rooting against them. Anyone one who knows Ezeli knows that he doesn’t root against you when he is injured, he lectures you about not playing hard enough.

It is sad that somebody who hates basketball enough to think Mark Jackson is a good coach has season tickets.

This is the correct take.

It isn’t just Americans:

I understand the point here, they Draymond denies responsibility for his actions. But there is a strange standard here because nobody would write this column about KD or Westbrook even though they both have more technical fouls than Draymond this year. This only works because it fits the narrative that Draymond is out

Yeah, there is the intentional kick, but it looks like there might be something with the right hand before the pirouette. There is a half second delay where it kind looks like he is grabbing his junk - or at least grabbing his shorts very close to his junk.

Violently - but without fouling him.

A lot of these things could be said about Jack Gibbs at Davidson as well. Scoring point guard, gets in the lane (attempting 8.6 FT per game right now), shoots the 3 (taking 8.7 per game), etc. He is a couple inches taller - listed at 6'0" but probably more like 5'11 ... also plays in a tougher (perhaps taller)

For the record, Euroleague basketball uses this system at various points and it can be pretty interesting. Imagine the NBA playoffs if nobody pulled their starters during a blowout. It is always worth playing until the last minute to be down 9 instead of 14 going into the second leg.

If the price for these games is that Green needs to kick some people in the balls, then he should kick away.

Ref looks like he should be on roller skates at the Israeli Sonic:

Incognito in a Suh jersey is a violent combination.

Careful, you do not want your name on the wrong side of a nerd core song.
