Almost nobody ever paid the top rate because there were many more deductions back then than exist today. Another thing is that once you get much above 50%, it makes a great deal of sense to pay accountants to try to reduce it rather than pay the tax without a fight. Very unproductive.

It’s rough on the T5 and T6 XC60 as well. On the T8 Hybrid it is super-smooth because the battery actually gets the car moving. We have the T5 and this is my wife’s car and she doesn’t mind it, but I shut it off whenever I drive. 

Thanks. We have a 2018 XC60 Inscription, which came with heated front seats. And the option for adding heated rear seats and steering looked exactly the same as the front seat and steering wheel for the Momentum, hence my confusion.
