I can’t see any way in which a BMW or Audi can hold a candle to the new V60.

So my wife drives an 2018 XC60 which looks great inside and out. But it drives like a Buick, which is fine for her, but I hate even being in the car for anything other than pure highway driving.

I suspect you need a new transmission at that point, and possibly a new rear diff as well. Or at least budget for all of the above.

My daughter’s first car in 2015 was my hand-me down 2009 Infiniti G37S, which was worth roughly that at the time. All of her friends loved her car.

Yes. My wife has an XC60 with a very similar interior. It is a $50k car with a far better interior than any other brand we saw, including vehicles up to $75k.

So the moral of this story is: If you own an Explorer or Jeep Grand Cherokee, aim towards the object you’re about to hit so you hit it more squarely
