You are right to be skeptical. I won’t buy Tesla stock either because it is not worth the high risk and relatively low upside at this point.

I have worked in multiple cash intensive startup companies. All of them were house of cards, including the one that wildly succeeded. That is the nature of the beast.
Have the town install speed bumps that reduce the traffic to the safe speed. That is a one time fix rather than constant tree trimming.
Balls of Steel. All of them.
Ok, but most dealers here usually don’t give out the high power versions as loaners. I often end up with an A4 when I bring my Macan in to the Porsche/Audi dealership.
I own a Macan. It is great at what it does, and while its handling approaches that of a sport sedan, you eventually run into the limitations of physics. The RS4 Avant, being several inches lower, has the ability to dramatically outperform the Macan.
Don’t many (all?) of the 2017 Audis have a dual-clutch? Some of the Porsches use the same dual-clutch transmissions, and they are damn near telepathic in sport-mode. Outside of sport-mode they are lazy and shift up too quickly.
Don’t have a Tesla, and wouldn’t own one without a second vehicle that is gas powered.
Ok, you got me. I will have to give back my degree from MIT, and tell my economics professors that they know nothing.
Most of the intellectual property is in the source code these days. Which manufacturer in their right mind would want to give that away?
The crippled battery was a tradeoff between higher cost of goods and the substantial operational expense of creating a separate 60 battery pack for the buyers that opted for a 60 or 60D.
A surprising number of gas stations require electrical power for their pumps to work, and have no generator backup.
It does.
You mean the ones bashing on Tesla? I agree.
Except they didn’t. They made it available free when customers needed it. They are free to not upgrade afterwards.
If you bothered, there are plenty of comments here with good explanations about why you are wrong regarding Tesla.
+1 for the Fargo reference.
This is not difficult for anyone versed in manufacturing issues.
Given that Apple had to pay more for the 32GB storage, but I didn’t, how exactly would I be the sucker?
“Tesla is charging two different prices for something that’s physically the same. They’re charging thousands for a few lines of software code.”
