I always assumed Steve Bannon‘s origin story involved a bottle of Dewars and a tube of hemorrhoid cream exposed to Gamma radiation.

That’s what I am afraid of. We are heavily invested in an old and expensive weaponry, not noticing that our foes already have our number. This is how old empires die. It’s like the French with their hugely fortified Marginot line. The Germans steamrolled it in like a week.

I was thinking more along the lines of…

Instead of military spending going to contractors, why not spend it on people? E.g.: lower education costs, reasonable public healthcare, etc.?

That’s part of why I don’t watch him speak live. I read about it the day after. I truly can’t stand to look at him.

I don’t call them conservatives anymore, they’re extremists. And the reason they believe stupid things is because they ingest a steady diet of Fox not-news and nutty extremist websites. their votes and their very thoughts are based upon lies.
