“We don’t have to hide those feelings, even if they seem illogical. Emotions are not meant to have logic. We can say it out loud, and we don’t have to give a damn what people think about the sentiment, because it is natural.”

I read Aislinns Pulleys response for why they didn’t go. And while I understood, I thought they missed a great opprotunity either:

What is weird to me about this whole scenario is that Taylor is totally in the right to be pissed.

I think he and Peter can exist in the MCU. Maybe not right away. But its a big universe. They could probably even have him be Scarlett Spider while Peter is Spider-Man.

Wasn’t this movie called “Your Highness”?

I’m a huge MBJ fan. I hate the dialogue about his casting has been more about how black people shouldn’t(or can’t be) be superheroes.

These are amazing

I think we're all ignoring the o̶n̶e̶ right person: Beyonce

I'm not asking you to spare my feelings. All I ask is that you approach discussion without assuming the worst intentions. Also I feel like we have responsibility as people to talk with people, not at them. By talking with people, open up channels for dialogue and progress. Honestly your hostility is unfortunate,

Great post dude. And a interesting thought. I think one thing to think about here is representation. Turning a character white/male in the main continuity could be problematic because it mean less representation for the minority reader. This could make them feel devalued and honestly "white-wash" the universe.

I can understand where your coming from. I just think Falcon has more credibility (and social importance) as a stand alone hero, than as the hero who turns to Captain America when hes ready. But thanks for your reply, and its something to think about with future replies

Hey man, I thanks for your reply. I totally read it over and while I don't agree with every counter point, its totally valid to have those feelings. I don't want to get super into anything because I felt through my replies I have touched on some of the points you talked about. However I would like to offer some

I'm there with you, I want there to be growth with characters and the Marvel universe. However there is way to do it that doesn't hinder progress. With Cap for example, I don't think its problematic to replace him if you do the following: Keep him retired, and use a original diverse character to fill the slot or at

While I see your point as totally valid. I just want you think that assuming someones point of view is stupid is very dismissive and really isn't helping the conversation grow. I think this is where I step out of the discussion because I respect your ability to hold to your stance and I'm glad we got to chat a bit

Didn't mean to offend with my statement. I was really commenting on his alter ego Donald Blake as joke to defuse some of the "seriousness" of my comment

I actually think Creators are more than responsible for their actions. We as orators in general must take responsibility for our messages, because it allows us to better work as a society if we take responsibility for what we produce. However the alternative I think, is to create a original diverse character to take

They are all important too and should have never have to give up their superhero identities for another hero. I know that Rhodey stepped in for Tony a few times, but thats a whole different bag of chips to open up.

Yes. By that point I was just commenting on the industry as a whole. Sorry if that wasn't clear
