@dingdang: The Boy sent me that link: It killed me!

@CollegeBookworm: I learned a little while ago that European conservatives are more like our Democrats - and Europe basically has no significant party as far right as the Republicans (or as I like to call them, "Red Party").

@amowls: I think you just blew my mind with that one, because I'd never considered that! All I can think of are the potential genetic defects that could occur in offspring, but then if the two consenting adults are related and gay... I have no idea how I feel about this now.

@deitybox: Yeeeah, me too. Actually, this worried me during the election. I can't remember, though - were there ANY candidates were more progressive on LGBT issues?

>>We shouldn't have to starve to fit the clothes. The clothes should fit us.<<

Does anyone come from a Catholic family that has also shown preference for male babies?

@nyc-caribbean-ragazza: I've often wondered the same thing - why weren't we, as a generation, out in full force? I know there were a few instances, but they didn't garner that much media coverage. Maybe the organization just wasn't there? I don't know.

@surlymcsurls: I love those two together!! There's kindof an age difference, but she seems older than her years to me anyway.

@Imogen Quest (was Percy Bishounen Shelley): Pasta dishes, rice and beans, Greek salads... I don't see what's so hard about it, either. And anyway, the whole concept of vegetarianism came out of Britain, didn't it?

@serreca: Damn! You beat me to it.

Just got home and I could not believe this headline when I saw it on the NYTimes website. I'm so angry, I just want to shake out of sheer helplessness. Vanguard Journalism is one of my favorite productions, and I really love their correspondents.

@Rooo sez BISH PLZ: Separate houses is my relationship dream come true. Seriously. It actually makes it kinda hard to find someone else interested in this scenario.

@Laulau: I decided a while ago that should this ever become a reality, I will cease having sex as a kind of silent protest. Well, at least sex with men.

@Maulleigh: My mother used to live in NYC and work in Jersey (backwards, I know) and I remember her telling me about the insane amount of taxes she had to pay in that situation.

@Beat Girl: That's always bugged me. I'm an American expat living in Europe now, and over the years I've developed a kind of quiet love/patriotism for the country I grew up in to the point where I've decided I don't want to revoke my American citizenship.

I don't care what her clothes look like, I will always get down with Stella McCartney's ethics. At least in terms of use of leather and fur, although I want to believe that she takes good care of her workers too.

@dcdulce: And Berlusconi *still* gets all the hot chicks.
