"She says he took his son to see Star Trek the Friday before the killing, unusual..because he rarely went out with his son"

@frankie22: Real Housewives of ... Duluth? Toronto?

@Vivi21: It drives me nuts, too. I'm Italian and have lots of relatives in North Jersey and they are exactly like the women above, only with far far less money.

@Confutatis Maledictis: Choosing to stay at home does not seem like a feminist choice to me because it requires you to be dependent on someone else's income. Simply because a woman makes a choice DOES NOT make it a feminist choice. Empowering women to rely on their husbands for primary income? Not a feminist

@siandt: I want a membership card.

I am amazed to see so much legging love on this thread.

Right on, Dodai! I'm so sick of looking at skin-tight anything: jeans or leggings, I don't care. Maybe because I'm one of those women who doesn't understand the importance of "playing/experimenting with fashion."

@KiddyKat: I know!! Then again, there's probably not much access to information about them, but still - a "Days in North Korea" counter, or something!

I love Vanguard Journalism on Current, so I'm kinda freaked out that two of their correspondents are being held in North Korea. I can't believe it's not getting more press and I'm really worried about them!!

@1.1.1.: I'm willing! I'm willing! I hate spending time deciding what to wear, just give me some shirts, pants, and blazers with a good fit in quality fabric. Is that so much to ask???

@rednrowdy: AND she reminds me of my grandmother. So, instant win.

Speaking of the Bachelorette, I would like to see a lesbian version.

@MissMoneypenny: I didn't meant to point my finger at exercise as the main culprit. The way the research is presented here actually makes me uneasy because it seems to insinuate this as well. But I do agree with you that disordered eating is the significant thing; I just thought the bone density to estrogen link is

I think this research is a little skewed because ballerinas are under certain demands that don't come into play in other sports. Do swimmers, for example, feel the same need to be slimslimslim yet powerful? Because those I've known in the past were proud of their broad shoulders and powerful thighs. To focus on

@SmallbutMighty: I think bone density is directly related to estrogen: more estrogen = stronger bones. This is why many women have less bone density after menopause. Exercise increases your testosterone, which lowers your estrogen, which results in irregular periods and/or amenorrhea and lower bone density.

@stoprobbers: Cheezus! By the time I get home from work, I'm starving and tired. Now I don't have a microwave, which means unless I want to wait 45 minutes for my rice to get done or spend 20 minutes making something from scratch, I'm probably boiling water for pasta because that's about as long as I'm willing to

@queenieinmanhattan: I, for one, would love some tips from the WH chef! And why not? It's something she obviously enjoys and her enthusiasm for it would be encouraging. Not to mention, I'm sure she/he has some great quick dishes to make after a long day at the White House.

@LooseBaggyMonster: There seem to be more men with cooking shows than women, though. Then again, I recognize there's a big difference between feeling obligated to feed others, and cooking as a creative/profitable outlet.
