i've consistently had more men-friends, but i want to have lady-friends, i do! it's just that i rarely meet any women who i have "chemistry" with.

i've routinely been referred to as "frosty" in work scenarios and that has prevented me from advancement, which is ridiculous. i can't imagine what would happen if i actually got *angry*. if "frosty" means i'm not stroking egos or smiling/nodding (instead of talking back..), then i don't mind being a friggin' Ice…

@boozyj: there's some kind of new gun law out there now that requires most public buildings to put a sign up that says "Big Deal Bank (or whatever) prohibits firearms on these premises", so i can kinda see a bit of Red influence.

i don't think Obama needs to worry about Minnesota going to McCain, though. i mean, he won the democratic primary in MN, made his nomination acceptance speech in St. Paul, and MN has gone Democratic in the last two presidential elections.

lemme just take the time to say how glad i am that my looks bear no impact in my particular field. and with that, i'm getting more ice cream.

i'm not sure about this. i mean, i don't have the time/money for a pooch either, though i grew up with many and desperately would like to have my own now. but dogs are still pack animals, and they appreciate a "family unit" type thing even if that family consists of just My Mom.
