Positive effects in video games: Mods.

Negative effects in video games. Microtransactions and devs not giving a shit what players want.

This is just how I remember BOTW always looking.

Haven’t seen it (never liked Pokémon personally - I was too old when the craze hit the US), but from an artistic standpoint, I appreciated that they didn’t deviate from the cartoon character designs despite the movie being live action.

Detective Pikachu is close up there.

You know what was an awesome game 20ish years ago? Gauntlet Legends. I shudder at how much I spent on my character at the arcade cabinet before the home releases

Yeah... the places I’ve gone with are in Asia and Eastern Europe and pay better than that.

Every time one of these “switch pro” reports/leaks comes out now, I can only imagine the writers sitting back going “ok, this time, THIS TIME, I will have been right”.

In the links provided, that’s exactly what it clarifies. The 7" screen is the same size as the OG Switch’s 6.2", just with smaller bezels. Because losing compatibility with current joycons and accessories would be a nightmare.

I want link to article / research that says it’s bad to sit too close to a TV.

Fair enough. I have both, and I think I like Caverna for accessibility, but Agricola because of the complexity.

I think it is fair. The devs still took time to work on those next-gen version so a small fee to upgrade I’m fine with it.

They work the same way as on Xbox and PS. Only the account owner can play the purchased digital content. But all 3 have a sorta work around by setting your home console as hers. The only drawback to that is you’d have to be online at all times for your Switch. My friend does this with his consoles since he owns

I’m gonna be one of those people: What in the world are you talking about regarding Mario’s movement? I only have the WiiU version to base this on as of yet, but Mario (and the rest) were just as much a joy to control and run around as any Mario game. Sure, his move-set and everything is slightly different (as it is

Given the complaints about Mario’s movement, I’m curious: Did you play Super Mario 3D Land on the 3DS?

The original on Wii U is literally my favorite Mario game. I say this as an older gamer who has been here since the NES days. It’s the perfect mix of tight “2D” linear game design, with the more open movement of a 3D Mario title.

Simpler fix: Don't be fucking assholes.

Fandom was a mistake.

I plug it in at night, like my phone. Since it can use the same charger, I usually charge whichever one needs it more.

It’s really hard to keep secrets the more people that get involved.

I would think TPP would have switched to a extension* by now.
