This is completely true. Utah in general may be Mormon super-majority, ultra conservative, but in Salt Lake county it is a pretty even mix. There’s always a line at the liquor store near me south of SLC.

It is okay to not like anything, Evangelion obviously included. I neither understand people who get upset at other people for not liking things nor the people who dislike those things and care what other people think about their taste.

As an African-American who doesn’t eat much fish and with high blood triglycerides Omega 3's are good for me. It becomes less useful for people who are not that, though.

I feel like they are closer to internment camps than concentration camps, i.e. the Japanese internment camps during World War 2. I do not, however, know if there is a difference between an internment camp and a concentration camp.

I don’t really mind being called black as an individual, but in my experience when someone refers to ‘blacks’ or ‘the blacks’ what usually follows is something hella racist. My Kinja’s use of it wasn’t offensive, but I grew up in the South and have heard too many awful sentences that included ‘blacks’ or ‘the blacks’.

The fact that no one included salt and vinegar kettle chips means that no one wins, but if I had to choose I’d pick Kevin this week.
