“which one of you bastards shit in my pants?”

anytime I lend my truck, I feel like I have to tell my friends that it has truck brakes with a design from 2004. Please, please, do not brake like you do in your kia rio. take yo’ damn time.

it’s possible

cops lives matter is a very emotionally charged issue, and it upsets those people while leaving the rest of the audience unperturbed. because many aren’t upset, the author can state that they didn’t say anything wrong, despite knowingly using language that incites emotional responses.

1) eww, with those haircuts? fuck that

brodozers can be annoying to share the road with, but this article is about attention-seeking people crying over being punished for breaking the law on television. the venn diagram of brodozers and emissions-cheating drivers may be more circular than not, but conflating the two is just going to needlessly piss people

totally agree that brownell is right - it’s ironic - but the blue line is, as you said, more about protecting people committing police brutality. used only to point out the irony of breaking the law, I agree that it makes sense. however, it’s emotionally charged and practically a dog whistle to include it.

Oh it’s ironic. But it doesn’t factor into these people’s opinions. People adorning their vehicles with those stripes don’t imagine these kinds of offenses when they they shed a tear for one of the most-legally protected professions in the world. We can all imagine the kinds of offenses that they’re thinking of when

it’s unnecessary when the complaint about rolling coal stand on their own merits, and all it does incite unrelated emotional responses. it’s childish

what was the pricing like on that, all told?

yup. $169 for a pair of 9006 bulbs. hard sell when that’s 3 tanks of gas

those are the only lights that haven’t failed on the 09 mazda in my garage

“We’re going to have to take some of this with a clean, sanitized pinch of salt,”

I mean... I’ve replaced a lot of headlights. can’t hurt

that’s not a very tepid opinion on a very, very old word

“and a thin blue line decal in the back window”

it sounds like you’re taking “rolling coal” to just mean driving a diesel truck? I don’t think that’s what most people, and the author, mean by rolling coal. Specifically, they’re talking modding the truck and dumping stupid fuel-rich ratios to throw up black clouds on roadgoing trucks

lsd front like the raptor would be pretty awesome, and sufficient

that’s true for all vehicles tho
