are you telling me that the actor in this prequel looks younger than the character in the videogame, that happens after the prequel chronologically?

Truly, buying a replacement speaker will be difficult, considering the speaker is made by a company owned by the unknown player, *checks notes*, Samsung.

you could move a couple more miles south and never have to emissions test another vehicle in your life

He talks about that a lot in his opening to Full Throttle. I think he mostly said he just doesn’t care anymore, because he tried for a long time to make his writing distinctly different, but got tired of it.

kind of a played out insult when lots of people refer to all motorcycle riders as organ donors

I suppose I’m being pessimistic about the price of the thing, more than the cost to Ford

It’s another tail lamp that Ford has to source - it’s going to be more expensive than the an identical lamp without the LEDs, and it’s going to cost more than the sum of its parts.

Excellent. The $500 tail light is now $800. Good work everyone.

A 2015 F150 tail lamp with the BSM and all that junk is north of $500. I’m sure the new ones are at least $700.

Yeah, I saw the qualifiers. I think maybe we just disagree on what “living like a king” or “living great” means. If it means comfortable? Sure. Living in any way extravagantly? Nah.

Seems strange to me, but I suppose you would know your city better than I would. I’m in central IL and I can’t imagine 100k being described living like a king. It’s certainly easier than living on 50k, but it’s taking a lot longer than I like to be able to save up a 20% down payment here

$2800 is way too much for a non-shifting sportster that isn’t vintage, and radwood era isn’t vintage enough. You can buy a running 1200 for 3k all day in the midwest, especially as we’re nearing the end of the season. Whoever did that “bobber” “mod” to it definitely spent less than 2800 on it before they attacked it,

The mortise thing is such a cool look - so much more interesting than a joint with a fastener and I like that it’s an aesthetic detail that improves a project that isn’t on paint or some fancy finish.

I look forward to reading the definitive ranking of best roads, selected from the eclectic mix of Athens, Boston, Detroit, and LA.

Hold up - have I been under a rock, or is it news that you can get a crew cab with a 6.5ft bed on a Tundra??

That’s what I was looking for - I hadn’t seen one built and was curious if just clamping them up end-to-end was the norm or if something fancier was done, thanks.

Hmm built-in flooded lexus alarm - it’s genius.

I mean, it wouldn’t be visible, right?

Bit off-topic, but are the joints in the grain/long direction in butcher blocks lap joints? Or are they just butted up against each other?

I’m thinking that it’s going to be difficult to get perfect 30deg cuts, and loading those obtuse angles with weight is going to be a tall order. My training and experience cringe at what a stress analysis would look like on those bottom two points if the shelf is hanging from the top.
