I’d bet the reason for the hardline stance is that a cashier is probably on the 5th person that day wearing earpods, and if the customer with headphones asks for the cashier to repeat something...

that’s a lot of over generalization. nerdy people can want trucks too. just because a stereotypical 45-year old construction worker doesn’t want an electric truck doesn’t mean there’s no market for an electric truck. especially when one of the reasons people wouldn’t purchase a truck is mpg.

Purchase volume doesn’t seem all that relevant when you’re marveling at changes and you can still purchase the 2-door that’s closer to the original. And pay less for it.

times 5, divide by 3. thanks cross country

just as long as they have their own medical insurance and keep their arms and legs in the vehicle at all times!

“17 miles of range on the new bronco is just fine, now everyone shut the fuck up until my wife picks me up from work, because this is how the world works, and anyone who does it differently is a fringe case and not my core audience”

fair, but the reporting stating otherwise from the same site is “it sounded like a v6,” until bradley stated that he’s confident the baja bronco had a v6. all of the sources I’ve read (the getrag 7-speed, the spark plug kiosk, and i was at baja bro) all seem like they have the same amount of credibility, or at least

yes, but I was wondering if the getrag lead was still considered a possibility. clearly, now isn’t a good time to ask.

awesomeeee. think that means the ranger is going to get the v6 or stick?

the internet ruins people

the only thing I can find about it being a v6 is that the baja one “sounds like a v6" and that getrag was supposed to make a 7-speed manual to mate with the 2.7L, but I’ve only seen that on this site and is from october 2018. I’ll keep my optimistic face on, tho

well that’s awesome to hear, but:

from what I’ve read, that’s pretty cemented. was there reporting indicating that they might have something else?

it’s been awhile since manual meant gains in mpg

I think you’re underestimating it, especially if you’re looking at the type of people who have to be early adopters that want an electric truck. a new, crazy aesthetic isn’t always a turn off for techies

you just know it’s going to be difficult to remove alexa from whatever UI this truck is going to have. but I hope it’ll be worth it

more like imply, insinuate, or outright state.

the highway sign on 74 that used to read “mitsubishi motorway” now reads “rivian motorway,” with the obvious rectangle indicating that they just platered the sticker over the word mitsubishi. excitinggg

Idk man I’ve heard roof racks can be pretty convenient.

My gf drives an ‘09 mazda 3 2-liter with 210k ish miles. The only maintenance items that it’s had are tires, brake pads/rotors, and lights. We’ve never had a problem with it, and I h a t e to admit it but we take it on long road trips, ostensibly for gas mileage, but really because it’s more reliable than my sierra.
