In both his original season and this one, he bugged me immensely for most of the season and I didn’t finally warm to him until the end.  THere’s something just off about the guy.

Still holding out hope that someday they’ll add some more filters to the space station and discovered systems lists.  Would make my life so much easier. 

There has been coverage of positive review bombing in the media before.  In this specific case it’s negative but yes positive review bombing is a thing.  Like when a terrible movie comes out and the studio has a bunch of people post fake positive reviews.  

Anyone have a clue what the song was or who was singing it at the very end of the episode?  Googling lyrics is not turning up any hits and none of the usual tv episode track listing sites has it yet.  It’s driving me bonkers.

Centralia is where I was born. Lived there until I was 5 (in 1981) and have never looked back. My mom is only 16 years older than me.  She wanted me out of there stat. 

This is so common in the area around my hometown in southern Illinois. My cousin had her first baby at age 14. That baby had his first at age 17. And that baby had their first at age 15. My 48 year old cousin is a fucking great grandma.

THank god.  I was genuinely starting to think I was the only person who felt this way.  What show did you just watch = me every week upon reading these.  I love the way Zack writes but truly feel like he and I are watching completely different shows on this one.

I consistently like this show MUCH better than the reviews here. I agree with some of the individual points but not the extremity to which they bother the reviewer. TBH I frequently wonder if we’re watching the same show.

I am still really struggling with Lily in terms of acting (specifically her voice). I am usually pretty good at ignoring weird line reads when I know an actor is working in not their native accent but is otherwise good. Sarah Strange is a damned goddess who should be a waaaaaay bigger star than she is.

I continue to think of Westworld as the spiritual prequel to the BSG remake.
