Why are there so many more SDCC stories on Gizmodo than on the AV Club?

Instead of snapping his fingers with the Infinity Gauntlet, all Kang needs to do to get rid of the half of the new Avengers crew is tell them to get vaccinated.
Im enjoying the game and think it's a fairly competent Smash-like, but boy do I wish they had more attack buttons? Like separate light and heavy attacks, because having just 4 options in any situation feels very limiting. Especially with cooldowns and ESPECIALLY especially with move decay.
Right, agreed - I certainly don’t need my horror/fantasy/sci-fi movies to be super logical or realistic overall (I love Star Wars despite its fiery explosions in the vacuum of space and a world where they have faster-than-light travel and fully AI robots, but seemingly no internet or cell phones.)
Jake Lloyd and Natalie Portman in Anakin The Professional
Even just one proofread by the author before clicking submit would catch a lot of the AV Club grammatical errors. They just do noooot care. It’s all about pumping out constant content.
They really need to rebrand the word “woke” somehow... cuz it’s not just a thing people are putting on, it’s how we’d like to eventually see the world. Yet so many people treat is as some kind of fad when they refer to it. Like being not racist etc is some kind of fad... it’s frustrating.
“Woke” has really run its…
This is so hilariously inaccurate when you know the actual origins of the term “woke”
Jake Lloyd, who alone in this world is justified in bitching about how Star Wars ruined his childhood.
Fascist gonna fash
Wait... There are people who think Homelander is the good guy in that show? HOW? It was pretty clear from the first episode that he’s the asshole.
It’s a good thing you get to pick who are the good ones.
I mean, some people thought his most recent film was too cartoony? That going back to the same well produced diminishing returns? That seems like a wiiildly tame example of mercilessly tearing someone down.
What ended up happening to Jake Lloyd was pretty fucking tragic as well.
In spite of the distressingly familiar practice of commenters mercilessly tearing down other commenters after they’ve put them on a pedestal (witness JohnCon)
I like how you criticized his work without providing a single concrete example or detail. In the immortal words of Matt Ruff, “A strong opinion and a bad mood aren’t evidence.”
I mean, it’s the most prolific example of recent note.
Get Out is more cohesive, but I enjoyed Us more for its stoner logic - it’s like a bad dream.
That butter is not gonna spread itself on that giant bread.....
