Growing up, one of my classmates had an over-the-top fear of bears. And someone who lived close to our school had a very large, poorly groomed, Newfoundland dog he was constantly walking off-leash on school grounds. Hilarity ensued, obviously. Repeatedly. She never didn’t run screaming away from that poor dog.

My friend has a labradoodle named Bear. He looks like a teddy bear and is the most ridiculously photogenic dog I’ve ever seen.

One time on the reservation I saw a dog that looked like a little bear. A lot of people were wondering if it really was a bear. The question was never resolved and the bear-dog never tried to eat anyone so we let it go.
