What about torque ratios? How will I know if I'm grounded to the ground?

Oooor they’re just getting in early. Most of the muscle cars that are going for $10-60k were once mass market cars. The most surefire way to have a low mileage, all original, accident free classic is to buy it new and sit on it for 50 years.
So now they’ll have a coffeeshop that’s just as empty as their dealerships? What's the point of that?
To be fair, 500 miles is roughly 25 20minute races, that's at least a couple busy seasons
All i see is a blank canvas for a ramp truck
This why people think they can download more ram
Which will stall compressor flow, just like a closed throttle. You still need a blow off / recirculation valve.
Sorry! I can't hear you over how awesome I am!
It’s pretty common on the “smaller” SUVs that have optional 4wd.
This always trips my head. I can never remember the physics as to why you heat the hole to make it bigger. It just does. The best I can remember is to think of a ring that is only 1 atom thick. When you heat it all the atoms move away from each other. The only way they can all move and be further away is out, radially.
That was my experience. Euphoria, my brain itched so I scratched it, my friend teleported to the moon for like 5 seconds, and then it was over. Had a hell of a headache for several hours after.
My father was a huge car nerd. Was THE “carb guy” or “engine guy” or “tranny guy” or “rear end guy“ (tehe) for several drag and 1/4 midget teams in the 70s but got out of motorsport when their maverick blew the second motor of the season on it’s second pass. The fresh motor being some sort of tunnel port monstrosity…
Oooor for the jalopnik crowd there is the Eliminator
We have a slightly-leaky-but-otherwise-perfectly-functional dishwasher in the garage for just this purpose. Push it out on the driveway, hook up a hose and let it rip.
No ideas for the name, but the tagline must be “Featuring Hammond’s evil twin!"
Modern diesel trucks have a urea tank, why would a 2-stroke oil tank be any different?
Sorry, I am this person. Unfortunately my baby has developed a strange need for food. Therefore I must, regrettably, decline.
I have a turbo miata with a stock 4.30 diff. People think I’m crazy when i tell them it “only” gets 25mpg highway and that the turbo (really engine management) helped, because it did 22-23mpg stock.
Even with a very stiff tub, closing the top (with something structural) provides large gains in torsional rigidity. A convertible os effectively a u-channel section of steel where a coupe is more square channel. The bottom of the U is made thicker to compensate for the lack of top piece. However, this added mass is…
Because the worst thing about a miata is its most defining feature. There is nothing concrete that is made better by cutting off the roof. I’m all for character, soul, and wind-in-your-hair driving experience, don’t get me wrong, but when it comes down to “because racecar” soft tops suck.
