But is good enough to save someone running summer tires in the cold?
I thought were talking about traction control in a practical sense, not driver’s aids that made an average guy get much better lap times than he deserves to get. There’s a big difference between the two.

“Modern exotics have absolutely amazing traction and stability control systems. They used to be two separate types of systems with traction control being more rudimentary and only handling wheel spin on acceleration.”

Define ‘heaps’. Exotic car manufactures are usually not exactly flush with development cash.

Due to low volume it’s more the other way around. Mass production cars will often have cost effective but often all around better performing systems for many different things than the exotics. It’s just too much time effort and cost to get it all exactly right for the low production volumes.

Also traction control is

If you ever got up close and personal with SN95 Mustangs you’ll find the one with the tacked on-ness is the new edge as they worked around hard and semi hard points. In fact you’ll find just how off base you are. First hint: The 1/4 window is the same window glass at least through 2000.

You’re also being deceptive by

The Probe was a redressed Mazda MX-6. Not a bad car, just wasn’t a Mustang.

“it’s crazy to imagine Ford almost made what was essentially a rear-wheel drive Probe”

The cooperate people are the biggest problem. They are the ones who allow people to be murdered for being insufficiently submissive. There is no way to convince them that people end up dead just because the cop didn’t like something they said or no reason at all. Even when it happens to them they can’t admit it.

“It should not be the job of the police to settle plastic utensil charge disputes, or any other minor disagreement.”

Deleting parts doesn’t hurt much as far as the financial goals and then it only hurts GM on those particular parts if at all due to reduced volume. Otherwise not having them saves money. I don’t think either Ford or GM are hurt by this.

Modern car rust is mostly hidden. The body panels look good but the demon is still consuming the metal under the car.

“but why couldn’t the modern car, with all it’s processing power, simply tell you what’s wrong on one of it’s two or five displays?”

Hillary Clinton hires people who aren’t nice? Shocker.

But glass ceiling? Um no. Hillary Clinton even with her own history of despicability going back to the Nixon years she still was the shoe in to win but managed to lose due to a series of poor campaign decisions and that includes the people she hired. But does she

Because private property doesn’t really exist any more. The busy bodies won. Even when they didn’t get a law passed.

Bored cops cruise through apartment complex parking lots looking for violations. Some towns even have police volunteers, essentially local busy bodies do it.

When I had an apartment in a town with both bored cops and busybody cop helpers I had a winter beater I didn’t buy a city sticker for. I left the old city

Exactly. It’s not hard. Clean the snow off, shovel out the space around the car. Keep the vital parts on. Keep the tags up to date. Wash the dirt off now and then. Put air in the tires. Make it look like any other car and nobody will pay it any mind. Even push it from spot to spot if necesscary.

Doesn’t anyone know how to dumy up a car well enough that it seems to be in working order these days?

It’s probably too late now, but this problem could have been avoided by keeping the outward appearance of the Jeep normal and pushing it to another parking place in the middle of the night every so often.

And there’s the defense mechanism for cognitive dissonance kicking in.

“Sounds like you have progressive political beliefs and a plutocracy confused.”

The wealthy who started this system of scientific management of society began over a century. These wealthy individuals were primarily from New England. With progressivism, scientific management, eugenics, social Darwinism, and all the rest of these fellow travelers we end up with the idea that because someone is
