Our dear ruling class has made NYC their capital, but they work through the fake two party system. Party politics is for the useful idiots who like to claim because they follow the priests of progressivism they are superior to the people of places like Alabama.

Trump gets his information from the media, like this website. Practically everything Trump blabbers forth is dervived from some sort of media image that was designed to create a perception for the public at large but not the political class. That media image might be a current one or one from thirty years ago.

BTW,

So the only thing accurate about the comment is the point of it.

Ocean regulation is not state or city. That would be federal or perhaps international treaty. That sandbox belongs to someone else. So of course that would be difficult for someone’s cousin in NYC to work around. But state level regulation? Easy. Entire

What’s free market about a government contract?

NYC isn’t a state, it’s a city and it’s run by wealthy democrats for the past few years. The idea that either group of these wealthy assholes gives a flying fuck about poor people is absurd. Both want most everyone poor to control them, the difference is how they go about it.

“legally bound to take the lowest bidder”

And such is the life making plastic parts.

For something like the IP risk of tooling in China is zero. Anyone can buy one and copy it. If they see there is a market for them they’ll copy it on their own even if the first guy to do it makes them in the USA. Will they run the mold someone paid for and sell parts off it

But it’s the pro-poor people party that’s in control of the big city that’s exporting its waste.

Left boot or right boot I suppose.

The problem is more likely that somebody’s cousin in NY ran out of space. Someone for whom regulation doesn’t really apply or for whom regulation is made for. And when it does apply that just makes the contract dollar amount larger. The idea of a place like NYC going to some outside bidder because he’s cheaper is

Outside of military duty nobody died due to one so by the measure here, it’s not the worst plane. Maybe one of the best, well by measuring through fatalities anyway.

An old high mileage japanese truck had its pluses if you live where its dry and sunny. Here in the salt states it’s just a pile of rust if it still exists at all.

Latex paint? Just back the car out and hose it off before it dries instead of taking photos.

It doesn’t much matter what the gears are numbered but the ratios.

I’ve not had a problem with comfort in my Mustangs. Well now the seat foam is dying in my ‘97's driver’s seat after 21 years and 215K miles there is some but that’s not exactly a horrid thing at this point. Mazdas however can be very painful if I have to be in them for any length of time and that’s been my experience

There is the bad tick and the normal tick. My ‘12 got the normal tick. Once I knew it was common I just monitored it to be sure it wasn’t getting worse. I have a good wall for it echo off of so it would be loud and clear. It would only happen when the car was warm enough long enough. Then it started occurring randomly

I believe the automatic transmission is the root of all motoring evil but what I think would if done away with will force people to pay attention to the task at hand or shouldn’t be driving if they are doing it or need it is quite irrelevant to the premise here.

If someone is driving perfectly I could not care less

“Cansomeone explain why it’s illegal to dick around on your phone when stopped at a red light?”

The last time I saw a cop catch a shoulder passer it must have been catch and release. A motorcyclist passes by on the shoulder in construction induced traffic jam. I eventually find him pulled over by the cops. At the end of the construction zone there he is again passing me.

There’s understanding it and understanding it. There’s knowing that the higher tax rate is only on the income above X and then there is understanding the effort and risk require to get one’s income above X and realizing the amount after taxes isn’t worth it.

If you need a loan for it, you’re not rich, you’re just playing rich. And that’s whom this used car marketing is likely aiming for.

IME, it is surprising how much rust a car can have before it becomes a huge issue from both driving and even crash safety standpoints.
