What do you expect them to do? Cut corporate welfare in all its forms (yes, including the personal welfare used to buy corporate products)? Cut the spending on wars? The spending on meddling in the affairs of others? The spending on locking people up for vices and non crimes? Break up the effective medical cartel?…

The control freaks attempted to get rid of pre 1980 or 82 cars from about 1986 to 1995. However I am unsure if the old car hobby could fight back strongly enough today or in the near future.

There is probably a way to get them registered as a replica, home built, or kit car on the state level. But don’t expect it to last long once government gets wise to it.
