If it’s done by machine sure, have the machine scan. However if there is a person doing it then that labor time quickly adds up.

I’ve recently learned that at least some developers do their damnest to hide the HOA papers from buyers until its too late to turn back.
This had to be handled in an open meeting where nobody attended or it’s a violation of the bylaws of the association. In fact it’s probably a violation even if it was handled in a meeting because the bylaws likely do not allow such a thing without being amended, which would require some supermajority of the owners.
Never bothered to check. If this theory of part mix up is correct it could happen anywhere. Only difference might be in how it happened. A line level mix up would be more likely some places but a BOM mistake would most likely come from Dearborn.
If there was an error in the BOM then quality wouldn’t spot it. They would at most check the part number against the BOM and say it’s good. Also a head gasket is an internal part and would not be spotted on end of line checks.
Wrong boxing from the supplier can also cause a problem. To everyone on the line they put on…
So the government contractor cheated on the material by not using the proper spec or the government was too stupid to spec the proper grade in the contract.
A better rule is to always route yourself such that you only go under tall modern structures no matter what truck you’ve rented.
There is a century plus old underpass I know where the warning signs now start a mile and half in each direction from it. People still hit it. Semi truck drivers still go down this two lane road to it but then usually realize they won’t fit in time. Problem is they went too far. There is no space for them to turn…
Pizza or plowing or both must be really cheap. In my area plowing a driveway is no cheaper than $20 and a (good quality) large pizza about the same. Of course he can probably cut the rate on the plowing when the pizza delivery cost already gets him there.
I’ve learned there is now a name for it. “control fraud”. This is to describe where those with political influence and/or power simply make their rackets technically legal to enrich themselves at the expense of others.
That comment saved me the effort. The TM car isn’t towing the semi, it’s adding just a little bit of additional traction to get over the hump. Whatever they have attaching the two probably wouldn’t even be able to take the full load of the semi let alone the TM car’s structure and tow point.
Looks like the cars parked up the hill will be fine. And guessing that since most of the cars are parked up the hill people living there know exactly what part of the street floods. The cars parked in driveways on the downhill side only have water up to the bottom of the wheels.
You have to think like a government employee. If you went to government run school, think about how your junior high school was run.
It is always the duty of the individual to know how each and every government procedure works. Never mind it not being published. That’s just how it works and how it has always worked. Government has a monopoly so it does not care. Which is why corporations team up with government so they don’t have to care either.
And let me guess, spray paint aerosol cans are illegal or a government approved paint shop is required. All of which are owned by connected people of course.
The fundamental problems still exist. They are fundamental to the nature of solar, wind, and batteries. They work better, but the fundamental problems (natural variability, storage, charge times, etc) remain with additional problems (fried birds, chopped birds, moving shadows, etc) that have been discovered as larger…
Since the 1970s this ‘cheap renewables’ electric future has been promised. It’s been force fed at every turn and it still can’t measure up on its own merits. That’s why these bans are being put forth. To force the issue. If this worked on a market basis there would be no need for laws.
“Ting’s announcement puts a lot of faith in automakers to deliver new electric vehicles to take the gas powered ones’ place,”
Why drive the backhoe out there? The idea should be to use a long tow strap to pull the pickup from the safety of solid ground. Or as a platform for a winch. Or just call a tow truck with a winch.
It’s just a horribly done and broken website made to superficially look like it’s from the 90s. It’s underlying code appears to be from various make-a-website stock templates and such. It’s actually a dynamically generated web page according to the comment at the end.
