We get a lot of weird looks from people when we drive around in the BRZ, especially when we pass random trucks and such who have slid off the side of the road… (which happened the very first snow we took it out in its first winter). Or more especially, the dude in Chicago with his blue one that he plows through the

My 1G TSX trunk is apparently comfy (I’ve never bothered trying). Our 6' friend climbed in when I first got it, and closed the lid right after this photo. :P [ok… this made more sense with the photo of him in the trunk, but Kinja is being funky and not taking it… or maybe it will now…]

I had to laugh at that photo as the day I brought my 1G TSX home, a 6' friend was checking it out and proceeded to climb into the trunk and close the lid. :P He was quite comfy… I still don’t understand how people call that car not roomy enough…

That’s actually how I shut my mind off to go to bed every night. Generally it’s Princess Bride (I have headphones under my pillow) as I can visualize it, recite along with it and also listen to it. Sometimes it’s Dr Horrible as the music is a little more distraction sometimes

I wipe mine down every time, as well as around the door itself. Because I do, it’s only an extra minute or two…

(never mind, you’re just showing how they don’t have arrows) (and why can’t I delete this???)

Now *that’d* be a Viper I could deal with… Not the obnoxious ones that go on, and on, and on, and on… I still remember the exact freakin’ sequence of that damn thing, and it’s been years since I’ve lived near one…

I wonder if it is an antenna thing. Our two cars with XM sound great (and both are “higher end”), and there’s really no noticeable difference if we’re using the bluetooth or (in my older car) a CD. And it’s definitely better than FM anywhere around here. Our limits are on the speakers (which aren’t bad, but also

Or, I don’t know, a space in the middle of the giant circle for people to fish upon?? (and connect it w/ a cool pedestrian sidewalk from both sides)

Ugh… I HATE pink… I’d probably throw up if I had to drive a pink car… At least with hockey gear, they’re starting to make “women’s fit” that isn’t pink finally…

Am I the only one that ended up watching these with dreams of how fun they’d be to drive? Well, baring large trucks driving 20 so they don’t tip and other idiots in front of you or where you have to merge… sigh… dream collapsing…

They skipped a few states, how weird…

There is a city in Iowa that was interviewed and the police said that it is, in fact, illegal to let your car run if you’re not in it… Which is utter BS… At least in the Florida instance, they’re only charging those whose cars were *stolen* for having left them running. I can at least sorta see that due to the city’s

Nice!! I always just read about people ripping their lips off on stuff and this one is “the pretty” car, so in that aspect, we get a little paranoid. :D Even driving around normally with it lowered! There are streets around here we can’t take as it bottoms out… Are you really in Chicago?? We were up there last year in

We get the same crap about driving our BRZ in the winter. On the Blizzaks, it’s better than my TSX in the snow! Our only issue is that we have the .blue, which has the aero kit, which means we have 3" of clearance… and our snowplows around here are infamous for making 7+” ridges of ice pack… So we are limited during

Well, since Jalop reshared it 3 years later…

Now playing

Here’s Richard talking about it (should cue up at the point). Jonathon Ross “read about it somewhere” and Richard talks about it. Interesting side point— apparently Richard has no memory of having done this interview. They discussed it when he appeared almost exactly a year after his accident.

Found these bits as possible leads from Jan 2007 forum posts (after Hammond’s first crash):

I’m so glad they don’t have that crap in our SCCA region… especially with RallyX (which is what we usually do). Actually, I’m glad the group of guys we have around here are who they are as I never feel like a “token girl” even if I go when my husband can’t get the day off work to run. And, honestly, that’s a pretty

Thankfully both me AND my husband follow the rule! We do make occasional exceptions for long road trips (it’s gotta be something special to lose valuable drive time to sitting there eating). Like the other day, we had a 4 hour drive, and were trying to beat dusk due to deer (which occurs at like 4:30 now…). I always
