I concur on acurazine— though I go to the TSX side as, well, I’ve got a 1G TSX… *Great* resource for any questions, mods (no matter how minor) and any potential issues/fixes, like the weird “whoop” thing. :P

‘07-’08 TSXs are the best year— bugs were worked out from the a/c issue, wipers were the best, TPMS, better audio… Actually, I think ‘08 got the mp3 ability… (though I’m the biased owner of an ‘07 which I adore…)

Having just gone out for a nice drive again, it had me wondering if all the write-ups and comments on the BRZ could get me out of a speeding ticket… “But officer! It’s so slow! And, Camrys! Camrys beat it at stop lights!”

Wait ‘til you get past break-in—- it sounds *heavenly* when you’re over 5k!! I also don’t get someone would have trouble passing, I’ve done it quite a bit when slow people are in front of me on curvy roads (though, it was admittedly a bit tougher when keeping under 3-4k during the break-in…)

I LOVE our BRZ (we have the white .blue ). I get really tired of people who only talk numbers on paper, and not the drive… I had an acquaintance talking about how their Mercedes SUV behemoth has 400hp or so, but didn’t seem to think about how the BRZ is not only about half the weight, but could park inside it… or that…

If someone isn’t used to a sports suspension, I’m sure they’d complain. Our other two cars are fairly stiff though, so the bit more the .blue has isn’t bad. You do still notice it on some of those state roads where the pave seams are *just* so, and you find yourself thinking a cop would forgive you for speeding when…

We squeezed my husband in there when we took a friend out to lunch… (I wasn’t going to sit back there! :P ). I’m happy enough with the insurance discount it gets us though.

No kidding— I have yet to really get to play with it as I’m always way too far past the speed limit when I’m finally somewhere I can push it a bit! More power is great, but if you never get to use it, what good is it except for bragging on paper? I’d rather be out driving!

I’ve never understood how people can actually ask that—- they are *totally* different cars (plus, we’d never get rid of our ‘05 WRX). They’re both awesome cars that are a blast in their own regards, but not remotely similar. I love driving the BRZ, but sometimes I just want that turbo wooosh of the WRX!

Probably good— we have an older 5-speed WRX, a 1G auto TSX and a 6-speed BRZ with keyless push button start… My brain does surprisingly well driving, even finding reverse, I just freeze momentarily when starting the cars and shutting them off…

I want to continue to read every word about your adventure, but I also know I’ll be in pain every time as I WANT THIS CAR SO BAD!!!!! Gah… Especially hearing how awesome it is from someone actually owning one… (well, once you put in a seat cushion…)

Drool… I would *adore* getting R versions here!! I got my ‘07 TSX because it had that Hondaness, but was pseudo Type S/Type R, and thus is quite fun. Right now there’s nothing on the market if anything happens to my baby, so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Honda, bring us the fun— but still a little bit practical!!

I haven't noticed anything else yet, but if this was their main one, it does suggest the Guardian doesn't *really* hate Clarkson as much as they're said to, and admittedly, if you don't watch the video, you still go, " wait… no… can't be…" (though the Bill Oddie part was kind of a giveaway)
