I wouldn’t be surprised if Palpatine simply wanted an heir and picked a woman he thought would be genetically favorable (maybe one of the Force-sensitives he had been kidnapping since the Clone Wars) and had her artificially inseminated.

The more I think about all of this the more I just hate it all. Star Wars has been playing fast and loose with timelines around when things occurred and ages forever though, but it’s all such a jumbled up mess that it’s incredibly annoying.  

It makes a lot more sense to me that Sheev’s kids would have been born around the same time as Luke and Leia, since Rey looks to be about the same age as Ben, and he would have been late 50s or early 60s during the Revenge of the Sith era, and still basically normal looking.

I still think Rey’s grandmother was a Dark Side priestess like Ashi’s mother in Samurai Jack.

I stopped after the group got captured by another group for the 30th time. Maybe i’ll binge the rest one day, but with everything else to watch these days, i’m just not there, yet.

I gave up on TWD after the premiere this season, and after S3 of FtWD. I feel with this upcoming movie(s), the entire TWD franchise is a meta reflection on itself - a zombie way past its prime that just won’t die
