Yea I can dig it. And I think it’s because they’re at least trying something new with the X-kids. So props for even that.

Oh, and I’ll also admit that I’m just stoked to see Magik on-screen.

I was completely checked out of Dark Phoenix.

I’m now 100% in to see this in the theater.

Yeah, I’m really wondering how this fits into the universe or if they are just releasing it to try and make some money back and then going to punt it. 

Just like when they initially released a trailer, back in 1997, I still think this movie looks like a decent horror film. I’m definitely looking forward to it.

What is Disney going to do if this is actually a success? Are they going to use portals to bring in these characters, Deadpool, and Venom?

Looks like it may end up being one of the better team X-movies. It’s nice to see they seem to have really doubled down on making it stand out from the pack with the amped up horror elements. 

It looks.. interesting? It has me more intrigued than Dark Phoenix did at least, I’ll give it that.

Five seconds of expository dialogue would have reduced so much head scratching. With Abrams, those five seconds are frequently cut to enhance his Mystery Box, which is a filmmaking technique equivalent to “If you can’t blind them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit.”

I would expect desert planets to be fairly common, as well as ice planets. Those single- biomes are easy, although making mention of how they’re sparsely populated and only at the poles/ equator (depending which biomes) might be nice. I’m not sure they needed Endor to be entirely a forest, or Coruscant to be one big…
