Saw it tonight with the 4 year old. Sonic gets borderline annoying at certain points, but is mostly endearing. Overall, it’s a fun one for the kiddos. Stay for the end credits for a fun surprise.

Just got back from seeing it with my two oldest girls, one of whom is a huge Sonic fan. It didn’t quite keep my 3yo’s attention but my fangirl was glued to the screen. I figured I would at least enjoy them enjoying the movie but I actually thought it was pretty entertaining. I hope you and yours have a blast!

The review on Jezebel was something else.  I’m pretty sure the writer was being snarky and mean just to be mean.  Everyone in the comments was telling her that she obviously wasn’t the target audience.

I think something like this would’ve been perfect. Enough texture so that it doesn’t look like the Adam West pyjamas look, but not so armoured that it looks like he couldn’t move around in it. I said it in another post, but I prefer my Batman as a stealthy ninja detective, not someone that relies solely on technology…

I saw that also! Adds just a pinch more utilitarianism that isn’t overly gimmicky or tech based. I dig it. 

Yeah, the heavy armor on the chest and shoulders reminds me a lot of the Arkham Knight suit.

I love it. It’s kind of a cross between the segmented armor of the Arkham games and the cloth of Adam West-meets-Year One. I wish we had a better look at the ears (they better be long), but I like the cowl.

Looks like the chest symbol doubles as two removable batarangs?

I went in very skeptical but I ended up really enjoying it.
