I totally didn’t recognize him and just finished WandaVision a few weeks ago. I had to IMDB him.

yeah - that was disappointing; I still watched it, but could have been better if there was no super-natural aspect to it.
The pastor/priest has a connection to Erin as well that is suspicious; and while I have no on-screen reason, I suspect Ryan (Pearce) simply because he’s too big a name to just be a romantic side story.
I said the same thing to my wife when watching this... Pearce is too big a name to just be some side-piece; he’s got to be the killer!
thank you - as soon as I saw the picture, I knew I knew him from something that wasn’t listed above!
Flash Forward had excellent promise (pretty good book too)
I loved that show - it used to be on either Sat or Sun night at like midnight in the Boston area.
no cats for me,... frogs and I think some sort of baby shark. I heard other years had piglets but I did not.
All that while wearing a dangly bracelet? Bold strategy Cotton, let’s see if it pays off...
this was exactly my thought when it came out... but I liked Eli Stone and I like this too.
I was fascinated by them - not easy reads but I actually think the 2nd book is the best of the three.
my favorite of the new films by a mile...
technically I guess Rogue One was a prequel. I loved Rogue One. Would like to see them do more “stand alone” stories like that.
Queen’s Gambit also has a trans actress (Rebecca Root - male to female transition) playing a female role. It’s a small part, but she literally stands out (she’s about 6'1) - so I don’t think Netflix would shy away.
I’m not complaining at all - just curious what the uproar was about Corden in particular playing a gay role; I’ve read plenty of complaints about him in this role.
I fully agree - my point was that this particular straight actor in this particular role has somehow created an uproar that I haven’t seen previously. So it seems to be more of a Corden thing than a straight actor playing a gay role thing.
that is a very fair assessment.
all the latest social media outrage is on James Corden playing a gay man (as opposed to how he plays a straight man in real life?). Anyway - thoughts on this? The consensus I’ve read and input from gay friends, isn’t so much that it’s not ok for straights to play gays, but more of a specific anti-James Corden thing.
Diamond Age too, then I got into his epics (Cryptonimcon and others), where I felt I was just too dimwitted to follow along.
very true - I enjoyed it enough based on just that. while my kids have no clue about 90% of the references made.
