It’s freaky how many similarities Valve and Youtube (Google) have in common when it comes to dropping bombs that affect a lot of people negatively in the immediate future and then, if you’re lucky, they might fix it later on.

You should re-read my post. Overwatch doesn’t have many baseline mechanics outside of a few characters with a few cooldowns that gives the games movement depth. Most of it is simply press forward and you go forward with little else. No strafe jumping mechanics or anything remotely similar to that in the game. Yes, you…
My biggest issue with Overwatch is that it has a severely limited movement system that has very little depth. Sure, characters have movement cooldowns or wall climbs but there isn’t anything that is even remotely difficult to learn in the game. It was definitely a dev choice by Blizz so the game could be easily played…
I think the idea of a warm-up room for people who are going to be playing in the next 30 minutes is a great idea. A VIP room for people to retreat to and avoid others is not as it goes against a lot of what the FGC stands for and has fought to maintain in this new era of big money Esports.
Nope. It works like a Souls game now. You no longer sit there and take hits like a defensless puppy. You can’t dodge/roll just like you can’t in a Souls game when you run out of stamina but you can still move effectively. They removed weapon durability too and now let me play with the weapons I want to play with.…
Don’t forget the popular book series that lead off with, “The Lies of Lochte Lamora” :)
Well, you’re viewing this as a gamer. I totally agree with you in that makes sense from a gamer’s point of view in what they would want. But from a business point of view they want to drive as many people to the service as possible. Also, a lot of the people targeted for the service do not even own a Sony system. They…
That’s fine, “I tried being reasonable” is the best line anyway!
I feel you on Shawshank Redemption. I have no clue why that movie makes me watch it to completion every time I see it but somehow it has that quality. And, apparently, we are not alone as I know of many others who say the same thing. I wonder if what that movie has will ever be identified.
Even if you had you wouldn’t have comprehended it. So it’s probably for the best.
There are a ton of supported ps1/ps2 games that could be setup to work through PS Now. They might not be playable now but if PS Now expanded it would be in that direction and it would be fairly easy.
You completely disregarded what others and myself said bout the tier list not being a real tier list. It’s a usage list where a lot of niche characters, many of which designed that way, are going to be low.
You should read the “Grain of Salt” section of that URL you posted. This is only current usage data at the highest levels of competition. It does not include success or an average for the community or even the medium’ish end of the community. No game will ever get every single character truly balanced when there are…
That would interfere with their giant money making scheme known as PS Now though. Why give existing PS4 hardware customers options when they can sell them another service on top of PS+ and the PS4! That’s a cynical way to say it but it’s the truth of the matter.
Everyone was asking for folders at launch. And it took them two freaking years to put them in. Something so simple was completely ommitted for two freaking years. I’m glad they are going to be in but it’s been #1 on the most requested UI change list since day 1.
Actually, I do. You posted which made clear some of your personality and what you believe you’re entitled to. Your other responses to other people also made it quite clear. So yes, I do. That isn’t a hard concept to understand and doing the cliche, “you don’t know me” is dumb in this case. But, since most of what…
I don’t read Gawker sites often so I just got back to your response. And did you just call somebody else a nerd while reading a Gawker gaming blog? Seriously?
Which is what my last paragraph addressed!
They didn’t set a standard then break it. They introduced a new mode and introduced new rewards for competing in that mode. So stop your entitlement bullshit and live in the real world.Sometimes you actually have to put in time AND be good at something to get a reward.
There are rewards that are only for people who compete in ranked in not only Overwatch but virtually every single game ever made that has a ranked mode. Your entitlement is pretty out of control.
