Just because you paid for something doesn’t make you immune to exploiting the system or simply disregarding it. That has to be the dumbest logic I’ve ever heard. “I paid money so I am immune to punishment”. I bet you just love people who text/talking on their phones or talk out lout at movies, right?

My palm can’t face anymore!

Or, you know, just punish them for rage quitting. Handing them Participation Awards for not doing something they should not be doing in the name of good sportsmanship is just kind of dumb.

The thing about that is if they are teleporting they might be reporting a normal connection and ping. Teleporting is caused by packet drops typically or connection rubberbanding. So you might send 10 pings to the SF5 matchmaking server and you ping fine only to drop packets 11 and 12. Also, you might have a 30 ping at

I don’t understand people’s need to boil something down to, “you eitehr want esports with or without humor”. No. The guy was bad to work with, did some stupid things and he got fired for doing those things. It had nothing to do with humor and it’s not a humor/no humor situation. But may on the internet, and in life

I’m glad they dropped it because SF2 on up has remained rather timeless looking due to the style. Also, it really wouldn’t have fit in and it would have been a big and strange departure for a rather lighthearted series.

If you’re going to cite security complaints you might want to look at the actual data and how much control you have over it. Then you might also want to check to see if you use Google, have a Gmail account, shop on Amazon or virtually any other online shop or use almost anything on the internet.

Almost every new game has one issue or another with AMD hardware (both processer or gpu) and AMD is slow to get driver updates out even in beta channels. Combine that with nearly the entire industry running, developing and building games on intel/nvdia hardware, which increases the exposure to issues earlier, it makes

It might be unprofessional but Gabe is in a particular position where he doesn’t have to care about being PC or 100% professional. He is the head of and owns Valve, a fully PRIVATE company that answers to nobody. He can do, say and fire anybody he wants. And after looking into the shenanigans of the guy who was fired

I get that whoever put the art in the game shouldn’t have done it but it might have been something as a harmless easter egg and a mini-shoutout to a former employer or to a friend at Ubi. The Ubi employees could have been a bit cooler with their responses and just sort of ran with it.

Considering how many issues almost every single one of those betas had it is actually a miracle the game sometimes works at launch.

Yeah, that would be nice. I really enjoyed the MK9 story mode because it was so bonkers. But the Injustice and MKX story modes obviously had a lot less effort put into them in regards to scope and they were just way less bonkers to make them so bad they are good like MK9.

I am totally cool with this being a “staged” WWE-style event. Zhi and Mike Ross were even doing the overly enthusiastic WWE announcer voices for the matches as well. Asking if it’s staged is like asking if the Leeroy video was staged. Of course it was...but it’s still awesome.

This deal is somewhat of a shell game. They are telling everyone that the price is going up so that people will buy it because they are getting a “deal” now. Then later, when few people buy the season pass at $50, they can discount it for 50%. Then people who think that 50% off is a great deal will gobble it up.

Haha, so true. I am so glad that Netherrealms decided that the female characters didn’t all have to look like porn actresses that got breast implants about 10 sizes too big for their frames with MKX.

With time, hopefully. MS is finally allowing the PC and XB1 players to play with/against each other in games like Killer Instinct which hits the PC in March. I believe there are a few other cross-platform titles that are also first party that are in the works with that as well.

Damn, you sound like you’re definitely the toughest MMA fighter at your local picnics and BBQ’s!!

Didn’t the first game natively support 360 controllers without any issues? If so, I don’t understand why they didn’t continue with that. So many people play PC games with a controller that it’s pretty much required to have support unless it’s the type of game that simply won’t work with the setup.

I never played AoD but I watched the trailer in the video and in my head I was doing the MST3000 dialogue along the lines of, “Lara Croft, framed for murder is ready to kill every single person in her path in order to clear her name!!”

Haha, yeah I was around for when WW was announced and reading all of the backlash regarding the graphics. It was being developed right around the time that almost everyone wanted more realistic and less cartoon graphics and grim dark was super popular. I even remember seeing artwork of bloodied up Link and Zelda. I
