Yeah, they will surely change the animations, change the hit stuns, mess with the lighting etc. I doubt they are placeholders as those are obviously not models ripped from SF4 both in regards to textures and skeletons. But there is A LOT they will most likely tweak once they are done building the core mechanics of

At first I thought so too. After seeing it though it looks barely anything like SF4 in regards to animation. Some of the art style is retained from SF4 but a lot is taken from earlier SF games and the animation is A LOT more fluid now. It actually looks a lot more like a 2D Tekken in regards not only to animation

I like to call this move the, BACKSLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I tried the first game a couple of times and couldn't even get halfway into it. I then played the second game and pretty much couldn't it down. I didn't feel like I missed out on too much by doing this. I then read a couple of the books, which are short story collections, and it fleshed out the world for me and the

I have resisted every time this game has come up for sale on a platform I own. I shall resist once again in hopes that there is a legit remake made and then I shall be rewarded for my sacrifice.

Haha, well Ultra has a monster community now and it's cheap. Probably bigger than SF has ever been. It's actually a great time to get in and learn to play because SF5 most likely won't be out for a year or year and a half. During that time you could learn all the basic SF mechanics that you don't already know,

Well, in the post I quoted you stated that this is how SF5 graphics should be. And it's hard to argue that GG Xrd isn't anime haha. I too hope that SF5's look changes a bit. It does look like they took SF3 and tried to 3d models in SF5 while retaining a lot of the signature look from 4. The characters themselves

Man, that Fizzy fight is truly up there with "best boss ever" for me. The other bosses were great but that one in particular, for me, was simply amazing.

I've been playing since vanilla and there wasn't any moves you could "spam" really. In fact, it's the one current fighting game out there which relies entirely on links which means you literally can't spam buttons because if you do then you might chain and you can't cancel out of chains in SF4.

This sounds like it could end similar to the South Park Christmas shopping episodes.

That Vita jab at the end really stabs me in the heart, Brian :(

Nah, it was Bruce. Brandon died during the filming of The Crow but it was almost done filming when it happened. In a few key scenes they digitally added Brandon's face to a stand in (when he breaks the mirror is one of them). Bruce died and they just got a stand in with big glasses for a ton of scenes.

Did you open up air dashing? Air dashing, IMO, pretty much breaks the game wide open. It allows you do transition from one movement skill to another so well that it really should have been there from the start even if it did make an already complicated movement system more so at the start.

I was the exact opposite. I went in expecting it to be annoying and I really really enjoyed it. The story is quirky and stupid but a lot of fun, the boss fights (Fizzy especially) are crazy well designed and require the use of what you've learned up until that point and the controls...oh those controls. Seriously,

I'm not questioning to be defensive, I'm questioning because I am curious. Why is SF4 "spammy"? Or are you talking about the couple of characters that can throw fireballs that every character that can't has a hard counter (either move or Ultra)? Or do you mean something else?

Why would they go anime-style? It's not an anime game. SFA series was a bit more anime looking but that's a different series.

You mean the Cthulu board I assume? Sony hasn't and won't be adding support for PS3 controllers on the PS4. However, they do allow companies to develop/include a driver which would then support that controller within the game. For example, Lab Zero (the makers of Skullgirls), recently contracted out a guy from

Saying, "people will always complain" does not prove your point. In fact, that's what people with a weak argument state. Sure, some people who don't understand the issue or alternatives will complain. There will always be people to complain about absolutely everything. Things are only as complicated as the company

WoW expansions come out every two years though so it's not a good point of comparison. Also, you're dismissing future content where people start missing out more and more because more of it is locked behind payways when Bungie could very easily make an alternate strike for those without DLC. Instead they chose to

It's a psychological tactic to keep you invested in your character and game. The more hours you have invested the less likely you are to quit because quitting would mean all of those hours aren't important anymore and could feel like a waste. The only way to get around that is to keep playing. It's how MMO's have
