I’ve done it grated and sliced, both with or without peel.  Works fine in all cases.  Ginger tea is AWESOME.  Back in 2011, when I was on new BP medication, it knocked the ensuing nausea right down.

Be interesting to see how long this takes to render Chocolatey obsolete.

Add booze.  Then it’s sour for a reason.

I loved this game in the 90's. I enjoyed X-Wing, but DF was AWESOME. As soon as I clicked on the link to this article, I was thinking, “Please let it be Dark Forces.” Nice to see I’m not the only one.

I’ve had some expensive wine, and I have had lots and lots of cheap wine. My wife’s and my favorite, go-to wine is the Rodney Strong Sonoma Cab, which we have been drinking for 10 years or so. Price is pretty good around $15 a bottle (it fluctuates at the local HEB here in Central Texas, so it could be as low as $12

They better get that in fucking writing, notarized and all.  Would be pretty easy to “defer” indefinitely.

Tried it. Couldn’t see any difference. There only so much technology can do, after all. I should check the error log for a crapton of exceptions.

The “new UI” option does not appear to have rolled out to everyone as of yet. Not seeing it on my menu, even after a hard reload. But as I like dark mode, I will keep an eye out for it in the coming days.

Booze. Case of wine coming in from Dry Farms, some locally sourced stuff as well (love me some Rodney Strong) and some Basil Hayden bourbon.

When I lived in Caribou, Maine, I had a Volvo XC90. AWD, of course. I thought it was great in the snow. Then I put Nokian Hakkas on it. Holy shit, what a difference.  I live in Central Texas now, so not as much of an issue, but if I ever go north again, that will be an absolute requirement.

Totally pro.  And if they ever make it illegal in Texas, I’m doing it anyway.

I love living with my wife, but we have separate bedrooms. She snores (so do I, but it doesn’t bother her), and I toss and turn. We still have the big beds (one king, one queen), but in separate bedrooms, and it is glorious. Plus it gives a whole new meaning to the phrase, “Your place or mine?” Occasionally, we will

And it would be so sweeeeeet to see it happen on camera...

Yes.  These chairs are everywhere in restaurants here in Austin (and the smaller city of Round Rock), and they SUCK.  As a rather plump Hobbit, I find they dig into my fleshy buttocks most uncomfortably, and the slight curve of the backrest attempts to corral my rotundness in a manner that is a little TOO snug, if you

I used to live next to a run-down movie theater in a small town in CT in the 90's. I would hop down some weekday evening, pay my $4 bucks to see a movie that had been out for a few months in an almost empty theater with a few other people that were there for the same reason.

Well, dammit...

Swine is Fine.  I Believe in Bacon.  And so on.

Nice.  IMHO Cholula > Tabasco always.
