Holy crap. More like Crystal Gaslights. Jeezus.

Austin FTW. Especially if you are in the tech sector. Tons of work, booming economy, live music, decent climate (and everything is air conditioned for those summer months when it’s a million degrees out).
Oh...dear...GOD.
My inner Pierogi fiend is absolutely SALIVATING right now...
Ralph Nader is a fucking idiot. He always has been, and he always will be.
People just need to leave President Obama the fuck alone. He’s done his time. He’s earned his respite.
I love cleaning to metal of any kind. Lots of energy. Of course, there is also the danger of going overboard and scrubbing holes in things, but, hey, makes it go by faster.
Oban is my wife’s favorite scotch. And probably my second favorite. After Laphroaig, of course. :-)
When I first read the title, I thought it had something to do with a metal band or something. I’m picturing the album cover being a bunch of long-haired burly dudes in corpse paint wandering around a winter forest carrying mops and brooms (with lots of spikes on them), or some such.
I wish I had Photoshop skills. I…
Amazon Music Unlimited is a pretty good deal, and the available library is pretty sizable. But the DRM means you have to (usually) use their apps, which uniformly suck balls.

Yay! Now they just need a Facebook Lite in the U.S. The full app is an absolute process pig, is bloated AF (and twice as annoying).
Thumbs up for bahaha. And the more a’s between the initial b and h, the funnier it is.
I totally agree. I have an almost-5-year old Origin PC 15" gaming laptop and while it’s definitely starting to show its age, it’s still a decent experience for most games (Dishonored 2 looked gorgeous), and since I paid $2000 for it in early 2013, definitely worth the money.
Before I had the EON, I had a Dell XPS…
Guessing a lot more people are willing to go to Kohl’s than to Whole Foods...
Beat me to it. Gerrymandering FTW—er, loss.
It LOOKS like the canned brown bread we used to occasionally have when I was a kid. That, too, was full of much shame. Cannot remember if it was gummy, tho.
I tend to stick with “unibody” spatulas, for lack of a better term. Sur la Table has some really nice ones that are basically metal or wood completely encased in one piece of silicone. No seams for crap to get stuck in, and if you toss ‘em in the dishwasher, the wood won’t get all swollen and nasty after 300…
Ooo, Jasmine. Nice. My wife is a member of one of those essential oils companies, and we have all kinds of nice-smelling oils that we use for cleaning house and the like. We stick with citrus for laundry, usually (grapefruit, lemon, et cetera) but Jasmine sounds lovely. Might have to try that...

Oh, man, I haven’t juggled in years. And when I did, I used Lacrosse balls (good weight, great forearm exercise). That’s brilliant.

Question: For multi-day stays, do you tip daily? Or bundle it at the end? I don’t typically carry cash, so the idea of remembering to have a couple of bucks handy every day seems a little tedious. On the other hand, what if it’s a different person each day? Gah. Why can’t we just abolish tipping completely and…
We ordered a box of these as well. The more, the merrier. I know it says you can use differing amounts per load size, but we just dumped them all in the dryer and leave them there. So we have 15 balls in there now. Dryer sessions are now rather...thumpy. :-)

Well, the balls themselves are pretty indestructable. We’ve had our original 6 for a couple of years. As for the oil, reapply as needed (when it stops smelling, I guess).
