I’d say I experience 20-30% worse gas range in the dead of winter compared to summer... 20% on long trips, 30% on short.

This has to be controlled for conditions to make any kind of point.
People who complain about electric cars in cold weather fail to acknowledge that ICE cars struggle with cold weather as well. I have a 2015 GTI and most of my driving is 5-10 mile trips. Thanks to poor combustion/lubrication with a cold engine and winter fuel mix sold in the Midwest, I easily get 30% worse mileage. …
To be clear: this only applies if the batteries have been soaking in the cold weather long enough. If you park in an enclosed garage each night, the reduced range effect isn’t as pronounced. Right?
This is my first winter with an electric car (15 leaf).
Oh it’s much worse than that, not only do I touch my puppy, but I touch my cat too! Without bleaching my hands between them!
Oh, don’t make the mistake of touching a PUPPY. Not unless you’ve cleaned it first!
All due respect, but Michael Ballaban, I’m sorry, your suggestion to drop thousands of dollars tuning his Versa is about the dumbest thing I’ve heard all week (and yes I know the State of the Union speech was this week).
I still need to catch up on the new Top Gear.
You may know this, but Top Gear was around WAY before the Clarkson Hammond May era. They just happened to make the show have far greater fame. It went through a ton of hosts before and I suspect it will continue to go through hosts for a while still. As long as there is a motoring show going on though, I’ll be happy.
This is exactly what I was going to say. You beat me to it.
I could do that for 20 minutes straight and not get bored.
I have always loved those seats. The bulbous rear end has grown on me, too. In summary, give me this car.
I really liked NFS. To me, the F&F Franchise seems to think it’s a set of real movies but they are all abominations with terrible cars, terrible acting, terrible directing, and terribly stupid stories. NFS is all that stuff, but feels like it’s supposed to be. F&F seemed to come with a pile of machismo bullshit like…
Doesn;’t mean they didn’t have the wrong car. If the guy they caught drove a similar car as the actual killer, and that is why they are chasing him...
