Elon lies/exaggerates all the time, Porsche doesn’t. So, my money is on the Porsche if it matters. And it doesn’t matter

Even if they used old reviews numbers would it change anything? Every review I have read or watched comes up with the Taycan being the faster car. Unless, Treelon thinks that every independent review has the fix in on Tesla.
Way better handling and braking and interior/build quality and a Porsche badge...that’s not a hard sell.
I’m forty myself and just picked up an M2 Comp but would never have considered the Supra. Two primary reasons:
I am in my mid-late 30's, have a wife, kid and another (we JUST found out) on the way. My two seater dreams, hell, even 4 seat sports car dreams are dashed.
You are largely right at that. I am 46, and the Supra I wanted in high school was a gen 3 Turbo. The Gen 4 was Toyota’s answer to the 300ZX Twin Turbo.. I never thought the gen 4 Supra looked all that great, especially compared to the period Z. I was in my 20's when F&F came out, and the Supra really didn’t have that…
Older millennial here, you might be on to something. I actually recently picked up a Lexus RC-F, one of the reasons being it has a back seat for my kids. Actually, that was the main reason I chose the G35 over a Z 10 years ago when I last bought a car.
I believe it may just be you.
I predicted this in the Applebee’s article a few months ago...
As someone whose office just got renovated recently to a more “open concept”, it’s really not as good as a lot of people want to think. I do like that we actually refreshed the interior to a cohesive theme instead of the years and years of additions and moved walls and mismatched carpet, but open concept means you…
That’s a false equivalency. This clearly looks like its design was inspired by the Mustang, whereas no modern car shares anything with a Model T other than the basic layout of a car.
You can thank the pedestrian protection standards for this and many badly styled new car front ends. Considering they’re only designed to help in low speed collisions, under 24MPH iirc, they operate in the same region where personal responsibility of the person on foot should be all the protection needed. Sleek…
Well, there was this vindictive billionaire who made Gawker go bust, which lead to it being acquired by a Spanish television station, which had financial problems so it was sold to a bunch of very stupid venture capital types who nobody likes and do not appear to know what they’re doing, and they’re seemingly intent…
Hello, I am a cyclist who regularly cycles through central London.
Or a pickup truck with an empty bed.
“Most cyclists just want to safely get where they are going and are doing their best to do so.”
I posted this back in 2018 on the last story about the bridge, and I’ve said it in the past (and have been heavily criticized for it)...
I don’t know whether to laugh or get mad at these responses. It’s almost like they don’t want to sell to informed consumers who do their prep, rather take advantage of the sucker who walks in the door with absolutely no clue.
I’m six feet tall and have never felt imposed upon by the person in front of me reclining their seat, even if I’m not reclined myself (unless I’m trying to sleep, I actually prefer to sit upright). I actually don’t understand what people get so pissy about. You can fit an entire tray table between you and the seat and…
