I think the RS6 is the only one so far this year (and only a couple more in the last few months). Just wondering if those are coming back or if you guys are moving away from that type of content?

So this is neat and all...but wondering when we’ll be seeing actual reviews again at Jalopnik?

To be fair, this runway was 2.3 miles vs >7 miles on route 160.

Could they replicate the 331mph again on a longer track? I don’t know. But 2.3 miles is pretty short for a top speed run.

Musk solving another problem that doesn’t exist....

How often do people replace mobile phones? And how often do they replace vehicles?

Oil companies were only ever meeting market demand. When consumers choose products not made with, or that do not consume petroleum products that will change.

You can get a base model Mustang GT for close to $30k if you shop around. EcoBoost easily (although I'd call that "quick" not fast)

Just curious: is Jalopnik still getting test vehicles? I noticed Derek is not a regular contributor and doesn’t appear on the masthead (although I’d like to read more of his stuff....great wrote up here).

Opening a can of worms but....this comes back to the same issue as to why we have Trump nation and their alternative facts (or reality), the RNI and online bullying of school children and revenge porn and.....

I can afford to pay cash....but I leased.

Why? I paid $18k up front for a 24 month lease on a new F150 (MSRP $74k discounted to $59 for employee pricing promo).

Scared? Nah. The 10% of the voting population that vigorously support Trump will be put down like a read headed step child.

When you feed a population a steady diet of realty TV and social media for an entire generation this is what you get. People no longer know what is real and what isn’t. Instead they look to twitter and Facebook to tell them and as a result you elect a reality TV star.

The Hoonicorn vs The World thing is lame. Every time they choose cars heavier with less power. As if it is somehow interesting or shocking that a car with AWD, 1400hp and weighs 3000lbs beats a car with half the HP, RWD and weighs 100's of pounds more.

Call me when they invite Rod Saboury to a race.

Please elaborate as to why you hate power windows and locks? Is it the convenience? The speed? The efficiency?

No one is getting approved for a G Wagen on $110k a year. A base model with no options is already $1750/month before taxes. Well equipped they are over $2k and we’re not talking about the G63 AMG here either.

I’m not suggesting there wont be a single person who cross shops these, but the venn diagram of V8 wrangler

“Three additional hours tacked onto a 10 hour trip is going to turn some folks away.”

Most of those health studies are not related to conventional drilling. One was specific to Natural Gas extraction which is an entirely different fossil fuel. They also include conclusions as decisive as:

Bounding over the dunes? You really don’t understand the North American market for either of these vehicles. This isn’t the UAE...the rich dudes living here that want to “bound over the dunes” are doing it in sandrails and SxS’s done to the tits. When those same guys go rock crawling they’re running custom machines
