No entirely....it’s just turned down from 10 to 6. Outside of hardcore sports cars you can never completely disable traction and stability control.

They don’t crash test manual cars separate from auto’s. It is ONLY the EPA testing that has to be certified separately for the different transmission. Unfortunately this process costs millions of dollars.
So your argument is “I want it” so they should make it for me even if it loses them money.
Except that a low take rate on something line Heads Up Display can be justified because it doesn’t cost millions of dollars to do EPA testing on models with or without a HUD.
“because tow rating and payload ratings take into account the GVWR and GCWR....”
You bet people shop for trucks based on GVWR. Not doing so can leave you with highway patrol forcing you to unhook your boat or RV at a weigh station. Or worse, being uninsured in the case of an accident (and or held criminally liable depending on the state). People who tow or load their trucks absolutely care about…
Pretty much everything you said in your post is actually wrong. Like, as if somehow you have no idea about any of the things you're talking about and instead you're just making things up because you have some blind loyalty to a man and his company. Weird.
You are aware that the Cybertruck is running on a full frame donated from am unnamed ICE truck that’s had a Model X drivetrain swapped in and that good body lowered on it right?
Yet there they are on eBay selling hundreds of kits every day.

Why have an off position? If it’s dark and the car is in gear (or e-brake is off) they should just be on all the time.
Auto headlights should be mandated. No reason not to.
While we’re on the topic of headlights, can we make it a felony to install HID’s in place of halogens?
Been posting here from Cloverdale since 2013
Couple things: I own all my vehicles outright (no leases or loans).
Reading this sounds so familiar...I have the same experience in my boat.
The maintenance costs are virtually identical on my Silverado 1500 as they are on my GTI. Mr lube charges exactly the same for an oil change. Each cost about $1000 for a full set of pads and rotors and $1200 for tires. There is no “more” to this equation just because the vehicles are physically different sizes. This…
The maintenance, insurance and “other” (what ever that means) costs are no different than any other car or small SUV. In 80,000 miles I’ve done oil, tires and brakes on my half tonne, nothing else.
42%? Are you serious? That means in a single model year the MAJORITY (58%) already have switched to something other than a compact car.
Not everyone buys one for public consumption.....some actually, you know....need a full sized SUV?
