If the Tesla warns drivers that their hands must stay on the wheel at all times then why doesnt the system disengage say 30 seconds after it detects no hands on the wheel? Surely no one is falling asleep within 30 seconds? And even if they did as you said, the car will slow and pull to the shoulder.

How is AP not disengaging if they are asleep?

No, you’re a shitty musketeer out to try and excuse intentional behavior.

I take the seat off the frame, layer the suitcases in between the frame rails and then the seat goes on top almost as a wrapper.

Look in tonew car seats rather than a new car. We started with a pegperego convertible until ready for forward facing and then opted for the Diono 110 as its super slim and shallow. The peg fit behind the driver seat with me (at 6'1) in a normal driving position. I've got 2 Dionos now and everyone sits comfortably.

2 kids, new born to 3 & 6 in a 4dr GTI.

You need tags for car, you should need tags for your guns.

Well actually Tesla got tax dollars, grants, zoning variations and numerous other benefits and concessions to build their network.

As a percentage of corporate taxes paid and/or profits to shareholders they’ve received many multiples more than ICE manufacturers and fossil fuel combined...

Ad-hominem attack followed by “stop posting here”..... I’ll chalk that up as a decisive internet win. Thanks for playing!

How do you think things would have gone if Stephen Paddock had RPGs in his room?

Even if that person is a Muslim immigrant? No problem with Antifa buying RPGs if they have the funds?

Tesla has received billions in subsidies. What’s your point?

So you harbor resentment and disdain for anyone with a Type-A personality? Huh.

I’m game for everything in your first paragraph. But if we’re giong to replicate cars, then like cars, all firearms should have tags. Everything else seems quite reasonable.

It’s not an all or nothing proposition. You need a licenses to operate a car, why not be required to have a license to operate a firearm?

Celebs owning these things are often more about PR than anything. See the long list of rappers who own Bugattis so they can mention it in a song.

Enterprise. They wanted my drivers license, credit card and several signatures. Then they wanted to go over terms and try and upsell insurance.

If I don’t have to spend 20 minutes standing at a counter watching some poor guy or gal pound away at a keyboard entering irrelevant information I could have filled out online (and probably did at the time of reservation) then this is in fact a game changer.

That’s exactly what I am arguing for. But it seems Tesla is preferring to go their own way. Regulations will likely be needed to force conformity.
