Oh I agree, the systems are still far from perfect. The latest estimates I’ve seen put the effectiveness around 70-80%. But at the current rate of improvement we should be looking at >99% effectiveness by 2030 or so which is why Russia is scrambling to counter.
Actually no, your assessment is garbage.
Even experts such as those from FAS are not speculating if it has the same radio active exhaust that the US design did so lets just tamp down the over the top outrage here.
“My mother always told me, if it smells bad, if it looks bad and if it tastes bad, it’s probably bad for you, better not put it in your mouth. Diesel passes these tests every time.”
Why? Because the King Ranch will likely have a couple more features/options at the same price point as the Navi. Not much, but a couple.
This is the correct answer. From like 2-8 (or maybe 18....) you do your best to ensure they are getting some whole foods, fruits, vegetables, etc. but to date there is no way to “force” your kid to eat something (at least nothing that wont get Child Protective Services involved).
“especially when considering kids have near ZERO control over the food they ingest”
How is me not waking my children to drag them crying in to the store hurting you?
So, what you’re telling me is that you’ve never had babies/toddlers to deal with?
And one was a hyper car the other is a suped up pony car.
“That’s why I reached out to Robert Beaver, Continental Automotive’s Chief Engineer of Vehicle Dynamics in North America. Continental is a developer and supplier of cruise control systems for a number of automakers”
I think what you’re referring to is Trump supporters (which now includes most of the GOP).
Not really....the diesel mall crawler trope is done and dusted. It’s applicable to half tonnes but virtually all of those buying diesel are doing so because they need it (if only for a few weeks a year that they tow the toy hauler)
I don’t know anyone who owns a SuperDuty that doesn’t have something to tow over 10,000lbs.
Its more like $25 non union, $32 union but the UAW employee is laid off for 6 months every three years so the gap becomes negligible when you calculate total long term earnings. Oh, and the non-union worker didn’t have to paydues and was able to get a mortgage that the UAW worker was declined for because the non-union…
Huh. I actually know two people personally that have cross shopped those in the last 6 months. One bought the 3 the other bought the e-Golf. On the lower end configs they are price competitive. And you have you realize, non-car people aren’t analyzing specs the same way we do. Most will make their purchase decision…
Shhh... don’t bring up Honda. They are non-union and dont have all the issues (lay offs, plant closures, etc.) that the big three and their UAW shops do.
“There’s only one way manufacturers are going to build more cars in the US, and that’s when consumers make a concerted effort to pay more for their cars because they are US-made cars.”
