I would love to park this at a supercharger and rev it.

I love this. Next step is to make is faster than any electron powered version of the Tesla.
Hell yeah, V8 manual, rwd!
My wife bought a Corolla earlier this year. We hunted it down, it was the only manual on the lot. The sales lady said they go as fast as they show up. I think the problem is the dealers.
This is not really that surprising. There’s a reason BMW keeps offering manuals in the M3/M4, but not in most of their other models. VW sells a ton of manual GTIs, and I assume that translates to the Golf R as well. It seems take rates on sports cars and high end sport sedans are decent, but pretty much everything…

Screw electrification, they need to be racing to this design language across all their cars, not the angry rat turds they are cranking out today.
I look at this interior and think they could just put a chevy badge on the steering wheel. It doesn’t look premium to me, just like a higher trim on a malibu.
My first true love was an ‘87 Starion/Conquest
I think we’re glossing over the real story here. There’s a Honda Legend?
Nissan releases Z
It needed a Mopar pinion snubber. Then it would have hit the driveshaft tunnel once and hooked up as hard the tires could take it ... or the ring gear.
There is literally nothing stopping any manufacturer from making a manual transmission that is just a transmission and doesn’t also try to hold your dick for you while you piss.
This and the 4C both would be perfect candidates for a real manual.
The flat plane 5.9 in the Tuatara is a home grown motor by Nelson Racing Engines. They are on of the premier, “spare no expense” performance shops in the world. They’ve been making 1,500+hp mild mannered street engines for years.
How about synthetic fuel?
Hydrogen get my vote. Watching low-slung, over-amped golf carts quietly whirring around the track—why bother attending a race event that’s so dull?
Certainly agree with most of that. I still don’t know when more screens started being equated to more luxury. True luxury buyers actually don’t want a bunch of gadgetry in their faces, they prefer that stuff operate in the background (i.e. Bentley infotainment screens that flip to reveal 3 traditional analog gauges)…
I’d like Mercedes to step slightly away from the “luxury” side of things and right into “high quality” what I perceive they used to be.
Like better visibility ? well, the solution is called safety distance, anticipation and driving slightly staggered behind other vehicles. When the market is full of SUV (really full of SUV), this advantage will be null. Can’t wait for people to say they need a Hummer to see above the crowd of SUV... ok I am being…
