Too many classes that are impossible to differentiate for the layman, but if it’s good racing and the cars bear some relation to cars you can actually buy in the showroom, then that’s all that matters.

The G8 V8 that I drove didn’t really seem to be dynamically head and shoulders above the Charger / Challenger. Maybe I didn’t spend enough time in it?

I’m no FCA fan boy - far from it - but the last several I’ve rented ranging from base Chargers with the V6 to full blown Challenger Hemis have been refreshingly simple and satisfying to drive.
