“elegant but understated design”

It’s so ridiculous, and so completely illogical (which just doesn’t happen anymore in these days of look alike screens), that I love it.

The Ford Emasculator. Just make sure it comes in Vegan Green.

You’re wrong Raphael. The only thing that matters is how many Yukon Denalis GM can sell to keep the C8 from getting killed off 3 years into production (at which point, GM will have fixed all the niggling faults that kept it from being a great car to begin with). I fear this will suffer the same fate as the late Viper

Too many classes that are impossible to differentiate for the layman, but if it’s good racing and the cars bear some relation to cars you can actually buy in the showroom, then that’s all that matters.

Save the manuals. This looks stunning.

No manual. No hatch for the States. At least it’s not another boring crossover.

Yep, these days are gone. Buy a good used one while you can.

If I wanted to drive an appliance, I would just buy a Tesla.

#cynical

I’ve seen a couple of S62s with 250K+ miles, original engine. They like frequent oil changes, nice warm up periods (the lights on the tachometer are very prescriptive about how much revs you can use), and you will probably end up doing timing chain guides, reflashing the computer to delete the secondary air pump, and

Well he’s fucking right. About the need for a NA Lambo anyway. No point in discussing electR8 until Audi makes the hard decision it wants to be a direct Tesla (and to some degree Porsche) competitor. Although Porsche would never do a 911E.... or would they?

Fantastic, but the valve cover really needs to say 1.21 gigawatts.

8 year olds dude.

The G8 V8 that I drove didn’t really seem to be dynamically head and shoulders above the Charger / Challenger. Maybe I didn’t spend enough time in it?

Not exactly $30K either.

Everything he said!

You say that, but have you driven one? I’m no FCA fan boy - far from it - but the last several I’ve rented ranging from base Chargers with the V6 to full blown Challenger Hemis have been refreshingly simple and satisfying to drive. It almost made me forget I was driving a rental. The Jaguar XE I also rented recently

Alternate viewpoint... I recently rented a Charger GT with the Pentastar V6. Full disclosure, I am an unashamed car snob and was prepared to hate my mass produced rental with oversized wheels and (in proportion to) comically under sized Brembo rear brakes. But I didn’t. In fact, I spent the weekend with it charging up

I’m a sucker for flared fenders, wide body anything. The big bore V8 without having to opt-in for any hybrid / electric nonsense is just icing on the cake. Where do I sign?
