How about every SUV and wannabe CUV? I could get behind a movement like this... hell, I should START a movement like this. Weekend project.

Vettel left Hamilton racing room (1/2 a car width) which is standard practice in any kind of spec racing. I race Spec E30 and nobody would have looked twice at what Vettel did.
That sound you hear? Me applauding from the rooftops.
But will it fit into an E30?
Oh you haven’t driven a SM have you?
I would be hugely disappointed if it was. EVs are the automotive equivalent of silent sex.
I know I should be happy that Lotus even exists in 2019 and a new car is on the way. But an EV? No thanks.
Yep.
In a LS400 it would definitely work, but wweed just looks wrong inside a Jag. To my eyes anyway....
Go Connolly leather or go home. CP.
Better doesn’t always mean faster or more gears. Better should feel better and the automatic loses every time.
This is the Kia Amanti I never knew I wanted.
Maybe. But real world handling is about having the confidence to take a turn faster or brake later. I would venture to say I could eek 8/10ths out of an average sedan on a bad day and 6/10ths out of a F150 on a good day. I’ll take confidence over numbers.
Hear this Ford: You wouldn’t catch me dead driving a SUV / CUV / SCUV / whatever fancy acronym or product niche you’re going to invent to try and disguise the fact that these are goofy looking, inferior driving vehicles compared to their car counterparts. Ever. I realize I am in the minority, but I have to wonder as…
I don’t think those two things are mutually exclusive.
Looking at this evoques nausea and flu like symptoms. I would rather spend the day at the dentist than driving this. CP.
There’s also people that consider EVs appliances and enjoy listening to the sound of an internal combustion motor. But I do think you’re correct in saying that **most** people don’t give two flying fucks about the way their motor sounds. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go fill up my 460CI Lincoln.
These were fantastically engineered cars save for the turbo heads which were notorious for cracking. Nothing else rode / handled like a 505 back in the day. With its supple and planted IRS, it actually was a viable SCCA contender:
