As several have already pointed out, Vita game cases are about as wasteful, give or take a centimeter of height. But hey, any excuse to shit on Nintendo, right?

Nintendo probably realizes making them smaller would associate them with the handheld market, and as they are aggressively positioning the Switch as a home console, they probably opted to keep them bigger in line with home-console game boxes.

You just explained my experience with the first three. I enjoyed them, but I didn’t enjoy the clock pressure. I feel like I missed a lot of content and side missions due to clock restraints.

YES. Thank you. My feelings exactly. I think a good balance was DR2 because the timer wasn’t irrelevant but it wasn’t as intense as DR1.

I do not usually replay games, but when they are short and fun like Dead Rising and feature a progression system and tiered unlockables, I am usually willing to play it through one more time.

I, too, enjoyed GameXplain up until they started doing full video guide dumps the day new games came out. Then I swiftly unsubscribed from them. I don’t want to have spoilers given to me via Thumbnail pictures as I scroll through my YouTube feed.

GameXplain’s been kind of a guilty pleasure for me for a while now, for exactly this sorry of thing. Sometimes it’s fun to just really wallow in obsessive fan-iness :)

Nintendo has tons of cash. They print luck.

I don’t know if this is right. For me it should be only compared to all previous Nintendo hardware releases. We all know the Big N don’t give a damn bout any widely accepted protocols.

Hopefully on March 3rd, all the bitterness and jealousy will be gone and we can just enjoy the Switch. If not, we’ll see you next February at next years Super Bowl. Being a huge Nintendo fan, I thank them for their Switching. ;) Being a huge Patriots fan, I thank TB12 and the team for being amazing as always.

I want another Metroid, just not Prime, especially since Retro said they were done with it ‘Prime’ upon completing ‘Corruption.’

I mean, the game was rather barebones on release gameplay-wise, and I’m not sure if that could’ve been fixed later on.

Also, the 3DS hardware simply did better. Compared to the Wii U’s unimpressive 13.56 million units sold, the 3DS (which had several models), the 3DS sold 65.3 million.

Only thing that keeps me going is Reggie has teased work on Metroid for switch.
