I remember how everyone expected it to be FPS/TPS and went ‘ehh’ when it was announced to be console RTS. Can’t help but think if they had released it on both platforms last time it would’ve meant Ensemble wouldn’t have had to shut down.

It was a great game but you could tell they were forced to cut features that had been standard RTS for years due to it being gamepad only.

And they’re actually releasing it on Windows this time. You know, that platform that actually makes RTS work.

It’s appearing low in the top-grossing list so yeah, one can only assume they’re not making much from it. Whilst each of the other Angry Bird games, even with their hands-off microtransaction approach would be at or near the top.
